updated with lots of things. if you should only play 1 mmorpg / game, try ultima online outlands. its free! completely. unlike regular uo where to use good items you need a payed version with subscription?
1st character, SeasiepiePisces, Classic Swordsman, main, 2025
no magic resist! the new focus skill isntead. i just deleted all my magic resist points on all my chars in revolution to its oppiness.
2nd character, Ryzynxouir, Backstabber, Self Surviving
yes, happened to pk a whee too much with him 😳 so now hes a resident of corpse creek for awhile. until hes down to 4 pks in which ill bust him up to 5 in no time and be back lol. still its good, it makes me level him instead of having "fun" and looting.
3th character, D'Enc'tiZx, Featherweight Ironman Boxer
a lot of fun, finally pk'd with him :)
he hits fast like a dagger
and as accurate as a bow
and damn the hits hurt too!
harpies dont like him though :(
4th character, Pzcyukmoik, Tamer Bard Macer
a real weird combo. a lot of skills. i prefered him at 70x10.
1 taming
2 animal lore
3 herding, this increases damage and attack speed and accuracy and things for pets i think?
4 veterinary
5 macing, just use a 2handed weapon and you do 1handed damage, dont need tactics
6 parrying, works even for 2handed, levels slowly. the max i got on a char is 85.
7 musicianship
8 discordance
9 peacemaking
10 provocation, didnt really use this much. but together with herding crook you can give bonuses to friends and pets and summons :) and its not good unless its at a perfect level or you only provoke lower level creatures, since when it fails, which these skills do, it provokes the failed monsters towards you. since when youre deep and down vetting them, that makes you die quickly. which brings us to the next char
5th character, Thael'Why, Mage Tamer
i just had to. yes i got 2 tamers. they mostly just tame horses and and level em to 1 and sell em for NOTREALLYENOUGHsothemountmarketcrashes! refilling reagents isnt fun and them running out after less than an hour. and you cant have too much and because you get pkd then. anyway, never bother going to valloria. all the banksitters are really pks in disguise, like makeshift assassins. scouring for newbs to kill when they dare step outside town with some nice gear. or they turn into them.
6th character, Muoldoura, Archer Carpenter
im level 77 or something forensic evaluation on him, so im getting higher level leather. its nice :)
7th character, Wyxxzxz Oxeexex, Hardcore Ironman Fisher
yes just started him. he has leveled a total of 3 skills! begging, for fisherman needs actually later on, really a bother to skill up, you can only beg against an npc once a day. and fishing and camping. not sure what else skills to put on him. im taking it easy :)
8th character, Thamrik Smoulder, Mining Smithy Defence
yes a classic mining smithy, dont need more muling on him, so ill add classic damage skills. pickaxes are lethal btw :) i tried to pk a guy in the winterlands, and as i was watching the healthbar it was really mine going down lol. he can easily make like 50k per hour or more. you get 2 ingots per ore and here its 100% chance to smelt. hes also got camping jsut like wyz but for the increased backpack size. ore weighs a lot :)

heres is a plain copy and paste from there. beware. this is 75k :) dw supports max 300k. ill see ya when you get there. "dont fear perfection, youll never reach it". 🫕
The October 26th Midnight Massacre

A newb who'd just been playing for 2 weeks—but surely been PK'd 30 times already—had had enough. He was gonna do a bot massacre. He'd noticed PKing before: north of Prevalia, people didn't even react. Not to greys, not to corpses, not to fighting—nothing
Not only would he PK apocalyptically and unapologetically, he would do it on a fresh account, and rack up kills faster than once a minute, against seemingly near-grandmastered accounts, who were controlled in bot fashion: first run to Boney, the battle trainer, then summon water elementals when in need? Then run away when low on health, or auto-bandage.
Or what about running around screaming at the top of their lungs, "GUARDS! GUARDS! GUARDS!" while nothing happened? In total, after 7 minutes—including starting the game, choosing a name (the fittingly titled ThrowAwayPK), choosing skills and stats, running to the omnibot place, and using that lethal newbie axe—he'd managed to rack up 9 kills before someone really reacted.
And Outlandia was never the same. No one ever botted anymore. No one ever used 20 fishing poles and 20 skillets on a fisher. People started enjoying the game more. And it spread to IRL, and world peace was achieved with Agenda2030 only 5 years later—because whoever wasn't a bot then was organ-dealed.

uo pvp and outlands is the same
as when the game got released almost.
in outlands youll often find 2 mage pks,
the spells, as i hate magery,
seems to be explo + mindblast x2,
this does 30*4 dmg even
with high resisting spells,
so takes down almost anyone
as soon as you see the
red names on your screen.
its silly unbalanced.
even with just 1 mage.
im sure if they balanced it
people would just gang up in 4s.
magery has hiding, aka invisiblity,
taming, summoning,
making food, cooking,
so many other things, just for free.
even ranged attacks
its much better and more
powerful than archery.
the op factor is just silly.
when i mentioned this as a
suggestion one guy said
"best one id ever heard",
but then others chimed
in the dark side with
"then people would have
to remake their builds".
yeah, so bothersome to
start with magery skills at 60,
level them to 80 in newbie dungeon
then afk for a day and
get gm or higher.
would take no time at all.
anyway, ive started 2
ironman characters.
i choose only useless
skills and stats
like 80 int, 80 str, 25 dex
so it should be challenging.
on my boxer i
barely managed
to master a bird.
after that i found a nice
place with 6 bird spawns.
after 50 of those kills my
combat one skills
were already in the 50s.
im evolving him,
but the vendor scene
is really offputting,
they only have whats popular.
can barely find low level
or iron items on them.
i also have a poisoner pk and
poisoned weapons arent
easy to find either.
my second ironman is a fisher.
i started the game by begging to
afford a horse and fishing rod.
then i noticed
you can get a
crew member at
80 begging.
will take a long
time to level.
anyway, rpg means you
roleplay a unique character,
you shouldnt be a cookie cutter.
mmo means you interact with others,
not just to twink and be
twinked and level easily.
actually to talk to them,
to be "in character" and do
something interesting

inflation in the mount market
Fil:Inflation in the mount market 2.png
its fun when you can affect the game
without fucking it up, but im not sure of this lol
so when i started my tamer, i noticed a guy had horses
at 555 gp, they were mostly lvl 0 so no bonded so not very
useful for newbs without any skillpoints in taming and lore
i figured id breed a bunch of lvl 1s and do
them at 500 gp. he didnt lower, but instead tamed loads
and loads, i mean just check it its like 5 pages or more
of horses from a south west town where its 4 spawns for
maximum zero effort. well, later, the lvl 1s costed 1k
and the lvl0s 500gp. but now he changed his mind haha.
what i wonder though, is it really newbs buying this?
or is it horse breeders hoping for weird colour combinations
trying to make an easy buck then selling em for millions?
i guess well never know. so much to learn about this game.
as for stock market manipulation, this is my first :)
helping newbs
the thing i like most
about online games,
beyond anything else,
leveling, skills, gp, op items,
is helping newbs.
it doesnt happen that often though.
when i was 30 i wanted to be a father.
i have several kids
but ive never met em,
unfortunately.
so this is like surragate of it.
i enjoy my life and take it easy.
i might get pissed off but
i get calm just as quickly.
i guess ill live a long time.
next aim is 999 ai songs.
maybe 99 custom made videos?
i should collect em!
that creepy silence around psychos who kill for sport
why is everyone quiet
in the bank area
of ultima online?
thats always puzzled me
but now it makes sense
all the banksitters are not
just posers and item hoarders
but full fledged psychopaths
they scour for victims there
then when you leave town
youre dead in a few mins
from one of their many
many alt accounts
if you got high level crafted
items or just 1 magic one
they have gear on their
sitter character worth
10s of millions if not more
but they prefer pking newbs
with gear worth 10-20k
the strange thing is
this isnt what its
like in runescape
the grand exchange
is a real talkative place
sometimes it can be boring
but you can get
good conversations
help newbs, or teach
an old dog a new trick
but the old dogs in ultima online
are only sick freaks nothing else

10mb h265
ive played the
char a lot more
as you see by
the skills, many
ill drop at higher
levels obviously
i do most 3 dmg
but my swing speed
is about 1.2 secs
so its pretty good
i guess against 0
def npc if i can find
em it might be 4-5
dmg or something
nothing much is
needed to make
someone happy
the problem is
when you try to
be happier than
anyone else, but
its a relative concept
so why bother?
you can play a very
simple game and
still enjoy it, like
snake on old nokia
phones. theres no real
requirement for what is
fun. you can play
strategy or turnbased
or action based on cosmetic
like the sims or runescape
without ironman lol or puzzlers
like tetris or more advanced
ones like the classic myth
really, the skys the limit, just
dont limit yourself. enjoy yourself
while playing. thats the point.
its not supposed to be a job.
its not supposed to be boring.
its not supposed to be easy either
not too easy
there should be some challenge
which you have with pks in this game
yes, they flock around you like
doves around oat flakes
as soon as you have high level
crafted or good magic items
but thats ok. so this character
as you saw in a previous video
cant actually handle bulls yet
im not sure what i should max
attack speed or damage? since
damage almost never goes up
NOTES
so i evolved my videostyle.
its still quite clunky.
and the 2 different audio
parts are varying db levels.
and kdenlive is buggy.
but i understand it better
that is, at all heh
anyway, before i just started with this,
i was listening to super mario bros 3.
so i figured, why not do it proper
vapourwave style and
add in some effects?
then i added some music
from there as well.
i kept it fairly low volume, -17db,
to not interfere with the vocals.
im not using memes lol.
but yes the volume level fucked up
or is it the automagic
limiter + compressor
that many sites have
that ruined it?

having it easy is just as
bad as having it difficult
isnt it strange how it is?
as they say
i dont think it was in
the creation idea for god
that we should be happy all the time
because we get a lot of joy
from a contrast, and very
seldom from how things are
anyway, as for easy leveling in outlands
it just eats your soul
instead of working for gains
you just get it automagically
then youre supposed to do that
for all your characters?
after the first i just
exited that place directly
then i got yelled out and
made a mage that way
and god damn, just removed
all fun from the game
having everything served to you
is just as bad as having
to work your ass off
its actually worse than that
another quote
nearly any man
can stand adversity
but if you want to
test a mans character
give him power
and ill end this
with another one
not necessity
not desire
no
the love
of power
is the
demon of men
let them have
everything
health food
a place to live
entertainment
they are and remain unhappy
and low-spirited
for the demon waits and
waits and will be satisfied
and i got another
the best one
power tends to corrupt and
absolute power corrupts absolutely
great men are almost always bad men
even when they exercise
influence and not authority
still more when you superadd
the tendency of the certainty
of corruption by authority

Fil:Etherether - pking and banksitters, an mmorpg essay (talk).flac
call out to all rich miners/lumbers in ultima online (outlands) get 7 defensive skills!
if your main income is from resource gathering,
you should really have 7 defensive skills.
or rather offensive ones.
my first successfull pking in the game was today,
using a gateway to a non populated place.
never been there before.
lots of houses and snow,
nearly no challenging monsters to talk of either.
now, i dont go out of my way to pk.
i just explore and do whatever i feel like.
it takes me around 10 secs from when i see a
person to when im whiffing against them.
you see, i got 2 low level offensive
skills, fencing and poisoning.
if i used swordsmanship and a katana
the bleed special attack would do more
damage than my meager extra output.
and you can poison swords as well.
but i want to keep in character.
except those i got alchemy and cooking,
since i got neither healing
or magery on my account,
and need some sort of healing,
and i dont want to buy everything,
what we called "twink" back in the days,
which was deregatory term, as was "trammie",
but now everyone wants to
have it easy, aka banksitters,
also a negative expression then,
and act like a blonde, with their 100s
of makeup items that do nothing except
empty their bank accounts and soul.
as for the pkd miner, she tried to use greater heal
after about 15 seconds she was down
the second one tried only "heal", so i guess
she had 25 magery or what? it didnt work.
after about 3 tries she ran to town, while
the guy next to her insta teleported away,
they could have easily handled me
2 more ran to town quickly, and the last
was original, he seemingly had
grandmaster hiding and stealth
just disappeared after some trees
the strange thing was,
he had an earth elemental
as a protector, but i guess freaked
out too much to react intelligently
so that would mean i should have detect hidden
or i should make a dedicated another pk
magery though? never. theyre just so dull
overpowered and resource hungry
grandmaster
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-24 083325.png
6x grandmaster, sure wish it had bells and whistles and fanfare and fireworkrs just like in runescape. now since codexes are quite useless except fighting 1 enemy then waiting to out of war mode for 2 mins and then waiting for the mana to regenerate. it seems more logical to bust one of the support skills for hiding and stealth so you can do 8-16x backstabs. whith ones? parrying obviuosly, and focus? theres too many skills that do damage, not enough to resist and defence. like why would lumber now get a mealsy 10% dmg boost? why not 30% def boost. if you hav
e a complete mulified accuont, it should be a powerhouse can take carry 3000 stones and have loads of defence capabilities.
Fil:5x grandmaster.png
yes, 5x grandmaster today
he can almost master ogres without healing
the disappointing thing was codexes though
you need 1 very specific one, not as useless
as the aspect which you lose when you die
which in outlands is several times per day
but codex uses mana. so you should have high
int and leather armour for better regeneration?
sort of defeats the purpose of a fighter build
doesnt it? and it doesnt help defence that way
and 28% damage reduction is useless if youve
got leather armour. you could use high level
version of it, but again, then you just get pkd
and your stuff taken. so another useless system
everyone says newbs should invest it. atvi!
but i get what they mean with "glass cannons"
no def or any hp, why not, 100 dex and 25 str
and 100 int? how dumb. could work for a
backstabber though, but then you dont
need high mana for codex.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-16 082959.png
well, not much to talk about
it trains automagically
just had the comp on
while sleeping
yes its the boxer
finally outfitted him
with some vendor armour
and hes now
training parrying
majorly needed
Fil:Grandmaster shade second gm.png
trained it naturally to maybe 87.
then cheated with a simple loop macro.
the only thing that worked.
look further down for my backstabber story.
most ive done is over 700 damage! wow.
im figuring of changing my swordsman
to have hiding and stealth, he could surely
do 2000 damage? and with codex, even more.
i wish there were even slower weapons, like
speed 15 10 even 5. for 10 second between hits.
would make "lancing" or turn hitting more effective
how i always played my archer with a heavy crossbow
that has a swingrate of 3 seconds. and they nerfed
its range? just silly. they love their instakill
2x mage pks surely the devs.
guild
anyway, someone said
you could create a guild
just for yourself, i should
really have invited that guy
the other day. anyway, i have
invited all my accounts lol
as for benefits in your own
well, i got a title and an acronym
next to my name on

but 1/3 of that damage was

even worse, if you lure a spellcaster or whatever
and you seemingly do some damage, your pet gets 0 xp?
i guess thats to prevent ez xp, but it also prevents
me from being a tamer dexxer, or even a tamer bard dexxer
like i am. really disappoing. of course if i have lvl 10

like months of training.
understanding weapon damage and armour rating
Fil:Damage 6x grandmaster swordsman exceptional iron.png
cutlass weapon by the way
another part. as i said in another place, this char
with gm mastercraft iron weap and armour does 58DPS to ogres
quite alright. lots of stats here and synergy bonuses.
im thinking of switching tracking for something else.
cooking? then i get swing speed from delectable food more.
i will grandmaster parrying, it will just take a long time.
maybe ill have codex defence lvl 7 so ill be able to solo
ogres without bandages, who knows? thats my goal right now
inspired by my ironman who is still not stronger than bulls lol
ive tamed a bull btw it has real good stats 😁
i dont find leveling pets fun
but it sure is fun to tame horses
lvl em 1 then sell em for 500gp
except theres comepeition in the game
someone else has like 5 pages of 1k lvl 1 horses?
and someone started with 500gp ones as well
separate from the old 500gp price
who will flourish?
who will survive?
do the 1k+ sell at all?
to who? news? do they even know how it works?
or is it solely sold to breeders so they can
make ususual coloured horses that sell for millions
and make a lot of bucks from our hard work?
well thats irl alright, thats global trade
he that dont shall lose, he that have shall flourish
i do know i like doing it, so until lvl 1 horses
plummet to 100gp ill keep training em, and if it gets
that bad ill give all my 10 chars a lvl 10 horse with
good stats for xmas pres! :) remember, theyre all in my
imaginary guild lol. ive tried to invite 3 people but none
have said yes. i sorta forget to ask mostly.
Fil:Stats swordsman 95-100 skill.png
so it says my damage potential is 80-160
weapon special damage makes no sense, i get
5 bleed attacks on a successfull strike
which do about 25 damage, so thats 125
fighting several rebel soldiers with 50 armour
and i presume them having parrying skill
and an exceptional great axe and 95-100
combat skills including 40 lumberjacking
shows my damage is 25-115dmg
while against an orc with 25
armour, and no parry, its 87-143dmg
so it seems 25 more armour reduces
the max damage by 25 but not the minimum
except 25-28, the damage was otherwise
minimum 87 just like against the orc
parry reducing damage by 75% would mean a 115 dmg attack
would be reduced to 29 damage, sounds about right

i just like using them wooden weapons and shields
the build is very simple and can be
"completed easily on newbie island"
it is the following
1 taming
2 animal lore
3 herding
4 veterinary
5 musicianship
6 discord
7 peacemaking
8 provocation
9 mace fighting
10 parrying
and the dull 100str 100dex 25 int
the thing is, with 10 skills
you can obviously just have 70 points in each
all i did much with this build
was fight ettins and ogres
they give about 40xp each
so you only need to kill 3
to train horses to level 1
then i sold em for 500gp
i mean money is relative
personally, if i got 100k
or 10 bucks i waste
it just as quickly
i never learned
the worth of things
but in a good way too
because i realized my worth isnt in
bling or numbers of "friends" on
social media who dont care about you at all
your worth is solely dependant on yourself
yes, i feel uselss sometimes
have really horrible moments
but not because someone in my clan
has 20 million more gp than me?

600 px
well wouldnt you know,
i bought a tracking skillscroll
i was slow though,
it was right next to
griefing ville aka prevalia
so i got it stolen. not to hulk though,
i went south and killed a skeleton?
wouldnt you know,
it had a +max skill orb.
when i check the vendor index
it only costs 10k?
so i bought 2 more. real nice.
i think ill put poisoning on this guy.
if i can manage to boost to +20.
probably wont make much difference,
but how much would +2% dmg do?
maybe ill pk with him, just once, lol.
i sorta like my title though
or remove focus and parrying
for hiding and stealth.
even my fencer with near
zero damage skills
did a backstab with
above 700 damage!
imagine with an axe
of mine, 5000?
Fil:4 gmSkärmbild 2025-10-19 154812.png
4x grandmaster, doesnt seem like i got any bonus there
for any of them, healing gives 50 hp, its sad, it
should be 1 point per skill, and then anatomy is
supposed to add to it? maybe it doesnt. it was
a mistake choosing focus, i should have gone
with magic resist. it limits what enemies you
can fight. still, i wont against a wisp, compared
to vanilla it had lots of loot, 1600gp even, nice.
Fil:Rat bastards Skärmbild 2025-10-19 152134.png
yes, about 5 corpses from me and 3 from others
lumberjacks who were surprised running to town
as a rat camp had opened, they are real tough
in ultima online. both melee and poison and magic.
i wish id stayed with magic
resist and dropped focus instead
theres so many enemies im missing out on.
ill obviously never be able to
master a dragon with this build
maybe with a halberd or axe
and turnhitting
right now im trying to get my parrying
up since it works with 2handed as well
but it doesnt give much points unless you use a shield
its 50% chance to reduce damage by 75% at grandmaster
so 40% less damage, pretty nice, i also got a warrior
codex from a newb quest so ill use the defensive one
for more resist vs enemies. its leveling fast, soon
ill have enough points for lvl 7, theres 7 levels.
with 4% resist per, so 21 in total, will be nice.
would be nice with magic items or high level crafted
but you just get pkd then
Fil:First key.png
this was cool
had anxiety
went online after some hours
could only stand it 15 mins
but was fighting uruks
together with the npcs
got a key to a locked chest
was quite low level, but
a new achievement
97-100 combat skills
cutlass
dmg to ettin 33-51
bleeds 12-15 dmg
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-17 045432.png
as i said to a person on discord
"pks can smell good items"
she replied
"they can smell helplessness"
well, both i guess
here id been outside town for like 2 mins
and a mage runs up to me, a red even
from nowhere
if i have low level items,
i dont see pks for hours
even if im afk for hours as well
nothing ever happens
just like a guy said
the mage seemingly used
the paralyze spell on me
just as i was looting a corpse?
if hed timed it some sec before
id been stuck trying to see what
the corrupted digits
said in the captcha
yeah, id equipped an avarite sword
and a verite shield
stupid obviously
but i figured i
would stay near town
it was a mage pk
theres nothing about them
i feel like picking
up the names of them
and finding their
non mage chars
and pking em
dunno how id do that
they just piss me off so much
and its worse than i thought
they got the invisibility spell
baam, gm hiding in something
anyone can cast
then they got even high level summoning
bang, gm animal lore and taming
and so much more, its so sick
Fil:Codex of swords.png
yes, as i mentioned in a vid id prefered
the codex of parrying, since its only 100hp
and that doesnt last long, especially with
a healing time of 12 seconds. that means
if a monster does more than 8 damage per
second, youre dead. and that sounds pretty
low right? thats why parrying helps a lot.
anyway i figured out afterwards why i dont
get gains, i use a 2hand weapon! so im
switching to shield and sword i guess?
one idea would be to drop anatomy or
arms lore and do poisoning instead.
probably doesnt increase the damage
more, but its fun with pking, when
people get poisoned they freak out
completely, start trying to use heal
spell? theyve never been damaged in
their whole characters
twink development it seems?
at grandmaster level parrying decreases
the overall damage by
around 40%, thats a lot.
also, just this player made iron shield
gives 22 armour on its own, thats real good
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-11 160214.png
managed to stay alive in the orcfort.
mostly other pvmers and never any pks
orc lords werent that challenging, but
without magic resist i avoid spellcasters
which i did before anyway, fighting them
is just so dull, they do too much damage
no matter what. anyway, as you can see im
already 30% to my first point. but you seemingly
need loads. im not in a rush though, and doing
high level pvm beyond even dragons will be fun.
Fil:Grandmaster.png
so it seems when you
grandmaster, 100 points a skill
you can gain more fame and karma
so now im "fair" :)
i was thinking of pking with
but i dont want to ruin that title
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-11 121738.png
correction: i suppose the 30 damages are from the mages.
and its explo + mind blast x2. so 30 dmg
each time, with 90 in swordsmanship as well
yeah, a log of the damages. starting at 12:10 the first one was harm
the second one as well, then 2 explosions. then harm again.
just no effort whatsoever in it. could just as well be bots.
again, with originally 72 resist and 74 parry. shouldnt
anatomy protect somehow? and this was with food bonus
spell siphon and "sacret journey" whatever that is.
its so sad. and so unbalanced. neither the original
creators or the modders have bothered with it at all
for over 2 decades. i dont remember if it was 2 or 3 pks.
even better, the prepare the explo spell offscreen, then
when theyve cast that there is a 2 second delay or whatever
then they immediatly cast harm which automagically hits
directly. so horribly unbalanced. anyway, in protest and
becauze i want to grandmaster my skills ill put resist
spells to 0. so i wont be able to fight dragons then-
which is disappoing. but anywhere with good loot is pks
so its seemingly impossible anyway. anyway, im gonna buy
a lethal poison dagger and maybe try to snag em in the
elbow some. you cant poison arrows? hmph. you can poison
with spells even. back in the days they used to use poison
wall bug inside your house to kill you.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-11 121207.png
got stuck in a jungle with high level monsters.
try to use stucky option to tele to town.
got there through a vendor moongate.
just as i press the button i see 2 pks.
i died in a few secs, as usual.
mages, as usual. resist spells helps
nothing there, as usual. the spells
always hit, as usual. eventough i got
74 parry, as usual. theres just no effort
to it, and then that leveling battle skills
is so easy means everyone can pk anyone
they want without effort. just a few spells.
do it in team and 99% success rate.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-11 115104.png
yes, this one im not bored of. except the whole resisting spells debacle.
it barely resists spells. and i dont wants lots of skills at lvl 80
then my character is almost done. after a week or two of playtime?
thats sad. so yes im gonna eradicate resisting spells. if i lower
arms lore my weapons will break and armour too. id rather not.
i want resisting spells to resist spells, not give weapon bonuses.
thats fixing a problem which isnt there with something even worse.
just nerf magery already. both for pvp and pvm.
2nd character, Ryzynxouir, Backstabber, Self Surviving
Fil:Cooking in the wilderness.png
well he is a self survivor
scout maybe,
i made him like
that in the beginning
like i say in other places,
with only 180 skillpoints
you increase your damage by 10x,
what would be better? =)
so im cooking food from
another character,
neither of us got pkd
takes awhile to prepare 500 ribs
the moongate is pretty near
anyway, corpse creek or
not ill be alright
it was only because of
here that i put
arslet i vagnen
and got stealth to 80
i mean if i managed to pk everyone
i wanted id been ranking
up -13 by now lol
fought an ettin in the shadows :)
no screenies, had too much fun
wasnt thinking about it
sure saved up on bandies
and was maybe 4x faster
i whiffed after awhile
so that wasnt fun
and youre not on a
mount so its not
easy to run away from
the monsters either
ettin
5000hp
melee 40-50
wrestling 75
armour 25
610-698 dmg backstab
also managed to
down a gazer larva
that was 3 ryggdunkar
as we say in sweden :)
yes im still where pks go to die
my verdict is 2 days 11 hours away
ophhmawooowooeeee
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-21 101750.png
OMG YEAH 753 DMG?????? 😁😁😁😁🗡️🗡️
Fil:Backstabber Skärmbild 2025-10-21 101035.png
yes, so theres the skills. looks better than excel things.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-21 100644.png
so now i can backstab? i hope it works.
i did this build specifically for pvp
but backstab doesnt even add 25% dmg there!
so its 800-1600% dmg based on weapon speed?
so harpoons make the most? can you backstab
at a distance? lol. probably not. anyway.
this will be fun! ^_____________^
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-21 084713.png
so im in murderers creek. where pks come to die.
yeah when you have 5 or more counts and die
you can only stucky option to that place.
and you can get pkd in town without repercussions.
its quite a mess, lol. anyway, a chick found me
there, we had a nice convo eventually. she pkd
me like 20 times haha. anyway, its like a prison
colony. you get calm. do what youre supposed to.
it will literally take half a month to remove the
5 murders from this account. at the very least.
it would be cool if they had labour so you could
reduce it faster? heh. anyway. just playing different
chars. think still im gonna make 10 level 10 low level
mounts so the dont die as quickly. i got 2 tamers now! =)
one with magery. its just so fun. lvl 1'd my 5 horses
on low level monsters. then i happened to kill 2 gazers?
that was like 120 xp! woah! and they killed 2 of my horsies
so its relative. anyway. its easy to have fun. dont be effective
when youre playing a fucking game. youre surely not that IRL
if you even have a job you slob.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-20 175200.png
that took awhile. im not in a rush though.
joy isnt relative. its simple.
even if you cant feel anything
you can still feel joy. eventhough
it feels fake then.
well this surely
was adrenaline rushing
so i figured id camp
at that winter area
where they mine carelessly
well, after only 10 mins or so
someone was digging a treasure there?
so i sneaked close
and landed several hits
including a poisoning
he was at 1/3 hp
then he sent his pets after
me but they did nothing?
didnt land any more hits
he ran back to
get more loot lol
i shoulda waited
1 alchemy 63
2 cooking 74
3 taste id 51
4 fencing 74
5 poisoning 60
6 hiding 100
7 stealth 73
so thats what itll be
like at grandmaster
the build holds up!
it seems people think
if you use a shortspear
youre a pk, and i prefered
the normal slow spear
then they predict nothing, lol
oh yes, was worrying
about pvm strength
but then backstabbing
will be available
btw i saw a guy mentioning
in the trade part of discord
before i got banned that
he would cook
your raw food for you
well it was better
first i got 100 delectable food
then a 1000 more
that will last me awhile
i noticed they cost about 100gp each
so thats 100k! nice
even with all the pkings i go plus
but for many builds you dont
especially with magery heals
or potions its not
just wish eating food was faster
than once per min
but really, normal healing
or magery healing isnt needed
when you got cooking
and pots and maybe taste id
Fil:Thanks for all the fish Skärmbild 2025-10-20 001816.png
yes, thanks for the loot mr afk. wow. 0.8 gains from just 1/5
of all the fish steaks he had on him. completely worth it.
Fil:Fencer poisoner vs gm swordser Skärmbild 2025-10-19 103617.png
its funny, even without magic resist my fencer poisoner without
much offensive skills or very high level ones, still outperforms
my grandmaster swordsman against magical creatures. i know i wouldnt
have been able to handle this one. but cooking and alchemy gives bonus
to heals with food and potions, and also bonus to poison damage. its
fun its a viable build, even for pking. ive done 2 pkills so far, dont
know if ive mentioned. this whole page is 45k now! wow.
"people say im weird for collecting books. and ill perfect my library
til the day i die. and then hopefully my surviving wife or kids or
grandkids want to take over it. if not, at least i did my job"
Fil:All out on skills backstabber.png
yeah went all out on skills
probably helped some against the attack mentioned here
healing is real nice of course and cost effective
but its sort of out of my rp realm
wont help against pks or pking someone
didnt find a spear near so bought 2
short spears, they arent that much less
damage but real nice attack speed
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-16 180445.png
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-16 175234.png
fought my second found paragon
a faery, it didnt seem to do more damage
or have more hp at all? pretty disappointing
it had 1 magic item and a big chest this time
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-16 170828.png
oh, i got pkd, he sorta did it rp style
not hardcore, and i got in some hits
he was whiffing a lot in the beginning
a real high level character with lots
of aspect items as theyre called, they
give huge bonuses, i did 10dmg he did 60
but like i said he wasnt all out on pking
me in a second. so happy im not finding
double mage pks anymore that do mindblast
+ explo and as soon as you see a red name
youre basically dead after youve blinked.
anyway, adrenaline rush, especially as i
was talking to a newb at the same time, and
he did greater heal on me
and flamestrike on the pk
as for my pvm playing style
well, its a lot of turn hitting
and running away from the monster and with gm hiding its easier
but not really needed, i notice on my archer monsters get bored
if you get only like 12 tiles away? nice nerf there, not like
they are overpowered. bolts and arrows cost through the roof.
you can use a 1000 in an hour or more. quivers are nice but
i dont want to pay 100k for 70% reduction when im gonna get
pkd with that item on me in a few mins.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-16 172414.png
anyway, the new build idea, and as my main 7 skills are only
480 points i can now at least afford a lot of support skills.
it is neat though i can survive with just 1 single battle skill
just like a mage except without magery and just some meager
poison damage. you can gain easily with a lot of skills, but
ive only used poisoning with 30 hours of play maybe like 20
or 30 times, and its raised my skill level nothing. why not
gain in the skill when you use it, aka, when you poison npcs
or players? like if they got poison resistance and you manage
to damage them still? or a small skill check even every time
you do a poison tick? right now its just pathetic, its still
staying at 60 skill points. i dont get why such a nerfed skill
should cost so much to train.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-16 155440.png
so this is the old build
after careful deliberation,
im dropping snooping and stealing
you can still do backstab against
monsters and steal from them at the same time
but grandmaster stealth is so far away,
and training 2 other skills as well?
managing to pk people
when you do like 10
damage is entertaining
ive managed 2 now
one who tried to use in mani all the time
who had a verite skinning knife + 30 other items
its only worth like 2k but still a good loot
i didnt know they existed,
dont seem to give big bonuses
and another guy some special build seemingly
with 100 dex 100 int and 25 str
if hed just died outside town
id gotten the loot of my life
but i made 10 dmg, he ran to safety
then 2 secs later he was dead
from greater poison?
i know getting pkd isnt fun
but damn ive gotten pkd so much
with some magic items out of nowhere
even just gold platemail
that evening out the
hate is worth it
this is the new idea
i dont want to drop cooking
now its increased 5 points
while alchemy is just 2
cooking is basically free if
you just skin a lot of npcs
especially with forensic eval
while alchemy costs through the roof,
i also got a mage now to uphold
i might still drop cooking further down the line
i figure if i manage to make
like 10k ribs or whatever
i can rest it for awhile
or add cooking to my new mage
a chef who makes wonders
why not? sorta rp there :)
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-13 122624.png
im sure fighting this
monster is more viable
than my grandmaster swordsman
spells just ruin him
and without magic resist
theres barely any difference
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-12 200501.png
yes, i use alchemy and taste id for
higher healing amounts and more poison dmg
then cooking for some extra heal points
this is much better, even without any
additions, than healing + anatomy
12 secs to heal once? yeah, real
balanced for pvp or nothing really.
3th character, D'Enc'tiZx, Featherweight Ironman Boxer
well. whatever. i twinked him out some. being hardcore you
cant be always. it gets boring as well. im not using wrestling
weapons since he just turns into another melee fighter but i dunno.
disarm and hambone sounds interesting. increasing swing speed would
be paramount. but i wonder if you really do that or if its at certain
thresholds only. swing speed in and of itself is quite bugged. sometimes
it shows up correctly sometimes it doesnt. with pets as well. makes me
wonder if it also works correctly sometimes and not. it doesnt seem like
the animation gets speeded up or down directly. its the same. unlike running.

managed to take down a cougar
just needed to heal

couldnt they hide too?
no that was panthers

well, its strange, i bought leather armour.
the bull did just as much damage,
so dont know whats up with that.
maybe if id healed 1 time id managed it,
but i dont think so. so i used exceptional mastercrafted leather armour, and also the same for shield, but didnt make much of a difference. i guess i need to twinkmule studded armour from myself somehow with a tailor.
here are my skills by the way, but i still do only 3 damage? its been like that since my combat skills were level 50. attack speed is pretty good though at about 1.2 secs between strikes. it just looks fast. lots of weird skills give especially damage bonus but its seemingly lost in whatever calculations are used.

objective:
# throw away all starting items
# choose only 8 skills you wont use, at least in the beginning, they can only be used when theyve been reduced to 0
# no npc help
# no twinking from players or other accounts
# no bank?
# no items at all?
# how long can i push this?
# no city visits? just be a wild barbarian? no clothes?
# add stealing and join the thief guild?
# add music skills to keep with the air theme?
thinking about how to limit. now that i tried out spirit speak, maybe i should try a necromancer for the first time? it feels tintilating to fighting low level mosnters and them being challenging. just something new. how far can i take it?
even just using items feels overrated. which skills are possible to grandmaster this way? taming surely isnt, the lowest taming requirement is 25.
anyway, what i did was put points into skills that i wouldnt use. and if you are to use them, they must reach 0 first. for stats i put max amount into intelligence so my swing speed would be as slow as possible.
luckely enough the first moongate i used had a bird right next to it. i almost didtn make it. i could always have run away to heal, but it was possible to 1v1 them. then i tried birds, a chicken, more birds, a cat. and yes, i call this the
"featherweight ironman boxer"
maybe i should only fight flying creatures? wisps would surely be a challenge. mongbats are probably possible as long as i find them somewhere. and why not harpies? could stone harpies be possible? i read that outlands has 500 different monsters, how many are flying capablity?
maybe i should turn him into a musician? or start a new character with that? never tried that out.

i went to town to bank, heh, nothing. there was someone who made a hobo barb in diablo 2, who wasnt allowed to use town except to teleport to the next act. was interesting. so many variations you can do. remember, the RPG in MMORPG stands for role-playing, that you play a role, something unique, something different from how you usually are. try something new! challenge yourself.

couldnt find a mongbat, but i fought an eagle, taming level +10 higher than the birds, so a formidable opponent, lost 55 hp. so seemingly not ready for mongbats yet. but this is only 2 hours or so of gameplay to reach npc training level? about average. not too easy not too difficult. as always in UO the designers mix low level and high level monsters so afking combat skills is never completely safe.
i wont use hiding on this character. at least not now. im tired of training it on just a previous character i made recently.

just fighting about 50 monsters give you 50 in combat skills and also 10 levels higher in item id and tracking at the same time. npc training isnt needed. and yes i guess i could have gotten hiding that high as well.
the eagle does 6-9 dmg to me while i only do a constant 3. tried a second one, and it went down pretty quickly compared to the low level birds in the beginning, but i lost 60hp.
i dont know if i want to ruin this character with items. its challenging now in a completely different way. pking isnt for me its just way too fast and then youre dead already. this is more my style.

had to run off to heal after damaging the eagle only half. theres some antibotting scheme which reduces your damage to 1 only. when i got back it was the normal incredible 3. my gump says 2-8 in attack but no monster takes that damage?

4th character, Pzcyukmoik, Tamer Bard Macer
i prefered my bard
when he was around
70 in most skills
what about this?
1 taming
2 animal lore
3 herding
4 veterinary
5 musicianship
6 discordance
7 peacemaking
8 provocation
9 mace fighting
10 parrying
with 100 in each i have to
scrape away sorta everything
and when my swordsman
gained grandmaster i got
no bonuses from it
at least hiding and
stealth gives more steps
but 4 grandmasters? nothing
the idea is to use wooden shield
and a club, its just something i wanted
ill craft them myself
since getting low level things
from vendors you have to run
all over the map
only for 1 or 2 of the item
which youll lose
in less than a day
then they might restock
with your items!
anyway together with dullhide
my grey clothes, hair, and complexion
looks nice, and it doesnt cost
an arm and a leg and getting pkd
i can just craft more
i got 5 dullhide wooden shields now
from just 2 trees of chopping
anyway, i explored earlier
for like an hour or two
before i got home
i seemingly got into the clutches
of a wrestler?
he
hamstringed me?
paralyzed
took like 20 secs to kill me
i wondered what that was
he used hiding and stealth
surely a patient guy
and with 3 music skills
you can give 3 bonuses
to yourself to friends
to your pets and summons
if you prefer magery instead
its just an awesome build =)
but then again i want
character development
you cant kill much with it
i guess when i get 80
for codexes it will turn
better, and ill abandon
my low level high level pets
for powerful beings
frogs are pretty strong though
they regenerate too!
so the aim is to have 10 level 10 pets
for all my characters.
and i swear, llama mounts
move faster?
its just when horses turn
they lag the animation somehow? when
youre running through the woods, llamas
just turn faster when you run into a
tree and change direction. it really
really seems like that?

its just nice with not your
pets dying when you die
if they can handle 5-7 hits
instead of 1-2 makes all the difference
"do you want a challenge?"
"its nice if youre rping or something"
at least they said the rp word
in runescape the rp server has like 5 players
Fil:Pet xp.png
so, 6500 xp needed
to max out a pet.
not that horrible.
about 175 wights.
or 300 giant spiders
Fil:Llama.png
not a very good stat pet, but i trained him a lot
seemingly killing that spellcaster with him gave
me 0 xp? i guess its because i attacked first.
its 37 xp on that, more than giant spiders at 22.
its about same difficulty, also as shallow water
which gives less. so lvl 9 to 10 needs 1100 xp i think?
that means in total its about 3000xp? have to calculate that.
Fil:Amazing bull.png
9.5+7.2+7.1+9.2=33 the minuses dont really matter.
and minus to swingspeed is good right?
well, i do get lucky. i found this on another character.
had other things to do, so it took 2 hours until i got
on my tamer again, and then another hour until i found
the place, lol. i was thinking of training up 2-5 of
a pet type, but thats only with 50 slots not possible.
so it will be a smörgåsbord of pets. i figured i could
sell them but thats not the deal. everyone just want
lvl 1 mounts or special colours. thats it. the world

i died too quickly when i got attacked
by monsters my pets were fighting
and since shepherd crooks give bonus
to taming i figured i should use maces
real nice idea, they reduce armour rating
of monsters, up to 100% although unusual
at lvl 60, so it benefits all pets. also
music skills give double bonuses, also in
outlands for pets allies and yourself
this is my first lvl3 pet, takes quite
awhile to level. i optied for only using
1 pet for awhile, it can be confusing sometime
and if you find a good stat animal you cant
have 5 full slots. and training 1 at a tmie
is just more fun. yes i get proud when my
pet level :) ive never played a bard before
and surely not a tamer bard. my weirdest char
back in the days was smithy archer. just added
tactics and archery to her and managed to down
a skeletal dragon, though it took awhile. they
move real slowly and have to firebreath attack
or do they? maybe i had healing too. now i discovered
crafting meat heal although not often but also potions

the horses do sell so theres a market for them
an npc lvl 0 horse costs 750gp so the one selling
for 1k at lvl 1 sure isnt selling many
theres like 5 pages of em now
anyway, not more powerful than my bard tamer
and what skill will i drop at higher levels?
wrestling i guess. i wonder if actual breeders

arboreal - when you cut down a tree it disappears from top to bottom. depending on population of the server and how many are lumbering, trees will respawn slower, up to 24 hours or more. now, arboreal means "knowledge of trees", so with this youll be able to plant trees. every tree has to be 2 tiles away from other trees or things so you cant trap people into it. gives bonus to all tree related skills in different ways as well. that is, tinkering, archery, lumbering, carpentry, mace fighting when using wooden weapons, and parrying with wooden shields. this will also mean, youll have to travel around the world to look for trees. high level in this also shows a map of the density of trees in an area.
masculine - gives chance to scare creatures and players around. at GM its 75% neutral npcs, 50% red or grey or chaotic npcs, 25% good npcs, 12% blue players. while scared they cannot call for guards for 10 seconds. they will also not be able to attack you for 5 seconds. this will be especially good for jousting melee fighters, aka turn hitters.
mounts - instead of being max run speed at level 0, mounts only get this at lvl 10. this will really spruce up the taming skill. very few care to take their mounts beyond lvl 1 which frankly doesnt take long. and mounts unless strange colours dont sell for much. every creature and tamable that spawns also has the new property "movement speed", in -+50%, while mounts have -+10%. and just like mounts, at lvl 10 they will be +movement speed at higher levels, so theyll be able to chase up to pks.

athletic - similar to the above, at 100 points youll move at the speed of a mount.
mounts and people can run for 30 seconds before getting tired. if you run out of your endurance completely, you will only walk slowly. regenerates in 30 more seconds.
yes, i want this a lot. why just random stats for pets? why not for all creatures and battleable npcs? why should they all have like 3k 4k 5k hp, 25 armour, etc? and for human like npcs that are grey or red, why not let them spawn with magic armour and weapons for even more potential challenge? and also let them spawn with any applicable damaging skills. and for magic casters, why just have them do magic damage, why not actual spells, and combos? i remember liches back in the days could do explo + flamestrike + paralyze + teleport + melee attack + poison. that was ruthless.
swimming - just what it says. you will be able to use harpoons and tridents and fight monsters and fish this way. has a (100/skill)/10 percentage chance to drown once an hour. together with taming youll be able to tame new water npcs. docks will double up as stables.
avian - ive mentioned this before. but why should birds be useless in taming? i mean they do minimal damage and have even less hp. with this youll be able to tame most flying creatures in the game. will be a requirement for wisps as well. only flying creatures can attack the birds mentioned. all follower slots are doubled, but all pets except low level birds use double the slots. birds can fly up to 100 tiles away from you.
eagle - picks up enemies / creatures and lands them closer or nearer to you, toggleable. chance equal to 25%-taming req+avian
crow, bowerbird, magpie - collects items from corpses and puts them in your bank. together with poisoning skill you can get items from a distance this way. up to 1000 tiles to deliver to town. 10 tiles per second at lvl 10.
crow - misc items
magpie - gold
bowerbird - magic items
vulture - skins corpses and sends the items if you got 80 or higher forensic eval
dove - heals 1-10 hp depending on level every 30 seconds.
some other pet ideas.
chameleon - copies your skills. any applicable skill it gets 1/5th of it. resource gathering and creation skills as well. they also get a higher chance to hide with your hiding skill, and and has chance to backstab if you got stealth.
unicorn - increases your karma and fame. together with fencing you can use their horn for "turn hitting" just like with a lance. can only attack demons, dragons and undead.
creature alliances. each new player and old start out with 3x5 random alliances. these will restrict what you can or cannot fight or tame or bard. if youve used a skill negative towards a creature, you can never tame them. if youve tamed them, you can never attack that type again. maxes out at 5 types. there is also neutral which does not attack you at all and is not attackable and cannot be tamed or barded.
this will only be activated when you have 5 grandmasters in skills, and you will never know, unless you safely fight and protect certain types. example of variations.

INTRO
When Bella left me for her Ex when our first baby was born, I turned to computer games, something I hadn't dabbled in for 1½ decade.
I remembered then how it was, I was accepted for who I am, no matter what. So as a tip for you, if you feel lonely and ignored, try to look up some online, or offline (with an online community) game, and start playing! You will have a lot of fun, and maybe all that pent up energy you have will disipate.
As a gamer I had trouble fitting into normal society, although I managed that for awhile. I have never had a proper payed job. Worked some for free though, at a large (or else it gets boring!) second hand store, a factotum at a cute art café, at the amazing thing called Fountain House, and its accompanying radio show (in their local Swedish office), Radio Totalnormal. Again, highly recommended to look up those, it can save your life!
TEXT
I've always tried to fit in.
I still do, wherever I go online or IRL. But in gaming I don't have to. It's people that have gone and go through the same pain as me.
Thats why I play MMORPGs 🖤
And that's why I played the Quake series online before. No matter how much I fucked up, no matter if I got banned TWO YEARS on one of the only servers on Gloom, there were people on the forums who accepted me for who I was.
If you're lonely and misunderstood, try gaming 🖤 It doesn't hurt to try!
With social media everyone tries to fit in, to be as perfect and as exciting as possible. Hey, guess what? Life is boring and meaningless and stale and grey. We are all really boring inside, in our core. So try to find people which are on your level. With gaming, its like that for me :) Now theres so so so many online games, that it's impossible to not find one which fits for you 🖤
The first gaming memory I have, and also one of my first memories, is playing ICE CLIMBER on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Since then I haven't really gotten any more skillful. I've played so many games, probably more than ten thousand hours, but I'm still not very at them. I'm all for easy hack and slash. Runescape was fun while it lasted, but now it just freezes constantly when I try to log in. It's ok though, I'm in MOC now. It's a small tight-knit community but its OK 🖤
Now some games I've played that I still remember, and some new tries.

wasnt this supposed to be released last year? there really is nothing to the game at all. pure vapourware. so where did the time and money go? like alex jones modus operandi, coke and ladies.
so what can you do in it? craft some items, of which the most important one is the cryptically named "supply". took me 2 hours to figure out that one.
the text is tiny and barely readable, although i can only play at 640x480 on my $600 machine i bought ½ year ago at reasonable FPS, so it makes it even worse.
in the latest developer update they spammed all the time about "empires" and "exciting" - of which the last word, is only used by highly commercial enterprises.
many have wondered where the name "bit" comes from, and they have constantly assured us on discord that it will never be associated with bitcoin. but lo and behold, yesterday they released a video about "the problems with cryptocurrency today".
you spawn in the same area as everyone else. if you walk north or south you get the error message "this is not the right way". only east works, where you are treated with a load of tutorials, which cannot be skipped, and the dialogue text is even harder to read.
there is nothing "open world" about it whatsoever. just walking literally for 20 seconds takes you out of bounds, where you already need tier 2 to gather resourches and fight a puny horse, the only monster seen. i have level 10 in many skills after playing all day, but i am somehow still not at the second tier.
when spawning, you are treated with a village already viewable on the screen, which is made by the so-called player "V275831", surely a bot.
walking into the shrine some 15 seconds away, treats you to a tiny room with an NPC to talk to, there is 1 choice: trade. clicking that achieves nothing.
and not to mention the automap. almost nothing is on it, except where people have built claim totems - clicking anywhere to walk doesnt work if theres elevation.
there is nowhere to uninstall (nor find) the game on windows, it doesnt show up on the start menu, nor the desktop. strangely enough, there is no trace of it in "programs", it sits directly below c:.
as for the "social" aspect, i tried writing a few things in the chat, but got no replies. devoid of messages for 8 hours.
i have no idea how they are to house "every player on the same server", there is often lag of several seconds, and walking for 2 minutes you get the error message "couldnt sync with server".
figuring the rudeness of the discord admins and the pure inanity of their twitter posts, i can only assume this is made by angsty teenagers.
Don't Starve
Immortal Life another farming emulator, but in 3D.
Sun Haven A stardew valley on steroids, more of absolutely everything, and then some.
Don't die in the west
Survivalists So I watched a play-through of the whole game. I wish he'd shown more crafting, not the fighting sort. Anyway, you make things, gather things, fight things, you puzzle things, and you've got monkeys to help you! A bit like that viking game on SNES, in that you need the monkeys to help you with the puzzles.
Top 15 Open World Pixel-Art Games
Factorio
Terraria
Vampire Survivors Addictive game. Found some vids on it on youtube from a twitter post. It's an action RPG, and difficult. You can play max 30 mins, but lots of powerups and weapons.
Forager Hey, a nameless game and a nameless character. I dunno, it just doesn't fit me. Soul-less. But its got real good engineering, fluid motion, as compared to Stardew Valley (which it's akin to). It even has modding capability. Whatever floats your boat, doesn't hurt to try. 🖤
Aberoth. For the oldskool lover. 🖤 1970s graphics, you interact with the world with arrowkeys, mouseclick and lots of commands. The commands are one of the worst things for me, since I just don't remember them. Might be related to my dad yelling me out and giving me commands, and then he'd say I should do something else, while yelling, the next day. Hey, all's forgiven, my dad has been dead for 8 years now.
Directly when you go to the website you're transported into the game, nice feature. Hey just wanted to mention that I helped a noob get around the game in Mirage, and he introduced me to this one. Be a good person, folks. Don't troll. Dont crash servers. Don't DDOS. Don't use weird memes on people. Dont treat people badly unless they deserve it, but even if they deserve it, don't do it.
Drakensang Akin to World of Warcraft. Real good smooth graphics on my old machine. Doesn't seem to be a huge game, not many maps. But lots of items. Mounts too. Pretty quick download just some 100's megabyte. You need to click a lot. I guess I'm spoiled with Runescape. You only have 3 attacks possible, left click, right click, then you can click tab to change the spell to be used on right click. Yep, lots of spells and different attack methods. It just seems so easy. I'm lvl 10 and havent even been near half health even. Another weird thing is, you need a respawn item to be able to be resurrected, otherwise the game is over? Sounds tough. Quite fun though.
I played the game some more. Still not much of, if any, challenge. I'm in a level 11 dungeon now. Upping skills doesnt seem to do much of a difference, and they don't seem balanced. It's just hack and slash and mash your keyboard. Another weird thing is I got a lvl 11 armour, but it has the same stats as a lvl 5 armour? so does anything change in the game, or you can you go without any items and just hack through it? Still, it's obviously not made for IQ, it's made for douchebags. Doesn't in any way obviously hold up to Diablo II's genius, even if the skills were less balanced than here. You could do a lot of fun builds though. Here it's just higher level skill available, only use that.
Eldevin - I didn't find the interface fun to use. It seems far too easy in the beginning. Couldn't connect without VPN either. Did download quickly so that's at least something. Give it a try if you're tired of everything else. The graphics are like a mix between oldskool Runescape and Runescape 3. It's quite well-made still.
Stardew Valley Not a massive game, but you can play it with a few friends (if you're one of the lucky ones). It's really original though and doesnt feature a lot of combat. I just liked growing and chopping trees. It's got a cute well-made graphical style, I can almost guarantee you'll fall in love with this game
Diablo II
(Written for Lurker Lounge some years ago)
Anoretic / Bulimic necro
You're so skinny, you're not even skin and bones anymore, you're just bones!
As the name might suggest, you put nothing into vitality at all. Being a singleplayer, noncheater, I have no idea how people get several 100's in mana from nowhere - or do they gulp potions like mad? Or both?!
Rules:
* Only magic bone spells:
Teeth
Bone armor
Bone wall
Bone prison
Bone spear
Bone spirit
* Just enough strength to wear the equipment needed, the rest goes into energy.
* No resist or defence equipment either.
* No twinking
* No mercenary
Your bones are your defence, and your "tank". First bone armor, then bone wall, then the most amazing one of them all: bone prison.
It seems like when you stack bone prison, they all act as one entity. So even if you have only a 100hp wall, if you spam it 10 times, then it'll turn into a 1000hp one.
Bone prison works even on Diablo, although, certainly, he invented the thing! You'll catch him off-guard, he'll be thinking "hmm, how many times should I make my slow melee attack on this white, dull, strange... thing?".
I'd recommend putting many points in Teeth in the beginning, and when you've reached higher levels, you can use the act I reward to redistribute to the higher spells.
Bone spear works fine on its own, but if you're lazy - or partially blind, bone spirit is the way to go - although you'll only use it when fighting a single enemy. It'd be better to max out prison and wall first before putting points into spirit - that way your bone armor gets stronger.
Your best defence, except spells, is Reduced damage. These synergize somehow with bone armor, making it last much longer.
I started this build, boring as I am, with corpse explosion, and an army. At act 3, I stopped using corpse explosion, and made use of the /players8 trick - to get more of a challenge. Then I was reading around - remember, I haven't played *any* computer game for 15 years - and found the hero editor. I only use it to exchange equipment and gems/runes between characters, and of course - the most fun - to reset my stats and skills every so often!
Something I don't understand, is all these people saying "what equipment should I twink to my new character?". And then all they do is infinite boss runs anyway. Those aren't challenging, and they're downright dull. They destroy the entire essence of the game.
Which gets me to my next point. I was using /players8 early on. But, damnit, 50 magic find on /players1 gives you better loot! And fighting huge hp monsters with my bone spear, gives *nothing*, absolutely nothing, compared to raiding bosses. It was so depressing, I had probably taken 10000 items back to town, to identify and sell and to assess their quality - and I never got any necro-friendly equipment. No large +mana, no good +skill wands or heads, no faster cast rate, nor improved run speed.
So I don't really understand, how an offline player, that has no internet connection, and just plays the game through, has *ever* managed to advance far in it. For any player, you get basically no - or negative - resistances, a little defence and block rate yes, no faster attack speed, no run speed, no cast rate - no nothing. Until you start raiding bosses, and the uniques flow like mad.
It's really sad, that a game which takes pride in its incredibly adventitious system on all planes, ends up rolling so terrible equipment - that I just don't picking up magic items anymore. And rares - why do I really, honestly, bother? Even with my necro at level 52, I have been unable to find something beyond +10 faster cast rate on rings as the best attribute. Which, by the way, I got from transmuting 3 amulets. It seems faster cast rate is so low in drops, that even act 1 blood moor beasts won't give them to you. But when I get those slaps in the face when wasting huge amounts of cash on gambling rings and amulets for many many Ks or even millions, I at least have my faster cast rate.
I'd also like to call my necro the bulimic vacuum cleaner. I grabbed basically *everything* I could find, and poured them out in the shops. Even bolts and potions. And yes, I did manage to find some good wands from the shopkeepers, eventually. Right now I'm waiting for the White runeword to be put into practice - but I'm not finding any good 2 socket wands.
And, yes, gamling is another big slap in the face. I tried gambling on shoes and gloves, thinking naively enough I'd get a unique. But a couple of minutes of a chaos sanctuary run gives a unique - or several - every time! While if I amass several 100 000's of gold, and invest them all in the aforementioned potential items, I'm just left with things like +5 life, and magic damage reduced by 1, if I'm lucky...
Starting from act I nightmare, things got very interesting. I reset my stats and skillpoints again, and made a completely dedicated anoretic necro. I eventually got tired of it, and went back to a summoner / bone build. But it was fun while it lasted! Sneaking around corners, having bone prison on your trigger finger. Assessing the potential damage of the enemies. Yes, it was actually scary, and exciting!
I tried building up my resistances - no, I didn't have any magic find equipment, I had dirt! But still, the results were the same, if I were to encounter an extra fast / cursed / lightning- or cold enchanted beast, I'd still be dead in a blink of an eye anyway, if they got their hands on me... (Or if I trapped myself together with them in a bone prison Big Grin)
For fun, approximate Bone Spear damage:
level 20 + 0 synergies: 200
level 20 + 20 synergies: 450
level 20 + 40 synergies: 750
level 20 + 60 synergies: 1000
level 20 + 80 synergies: 1300
level 20 + 80 synergies & +5 skills: 1800
level 20 + 80 synergies & +10 skills: 2500
level 20 + 80 synergies & +15 skills: 3300
level 20 + 80 synergies & +20 skills: 4100
level 20 + 80 synergies & +25 skills: 4900
level 20 + 80 synergies & +30 skills: 5800
level 20 + 80 synergies & +35 skills: 6666
level 20 + 80 synergies & +40 skills: 7400
Of note is I saw a discussion of a level 99 PvP barb, who had around 7500hp. If you could truly max out your +skills (absolutely highest possible is +41 skills, I think?) you could, if you rolled the max damage on the spear, butcher him in 1 shot!
A screenie from a rare ring I just got this morning, level 54, act II nightmare, /players8, ~30 magic find. Dear god, I think I'll do Normal CS runs again. It's just a damn joke. Although, after reading around, I've realized that the drops are the same as using /players1. Still, it's fun to level up faster and the increased challenge (monsters do 50% more damage!), but I think I'll edit the TXTs to give me 8 player drops.

By the way, I *swear* bone armour has a running speed penatly?
[Update]
I'm still in act II nightmare. At level 56. Have been doing a lot of CS runs. Got myself tons of items. But it just sucked the fun out of the game. Didn't want to play for several days. I wondered why my other lower level characters weren't enjoyable to play - because i couldn't do zero challenge boss runs, that's why!
I've started modding the game a bit, but the task is just humungous. And it'd be better if I just balanced the overpowered skills as they were. Started a Dragon Talon assassin, I've been kicking everyone's ass so far, in act III.
The necro I reverted back to a bone prison / bone spear one. Sad My mercenary kept dying, and I kept getting tired of resurrecting him. Thought I had some good gear on him, but no no... And I've reverted back to using /players1 there. This is where the challenge starts! To think I have more than half the game in front of me, still... I also changed it around to using almost all my points in vitality, but I still die so easily. I hate zombies! They probably take a 100 hits with my bone spear at 1000 damage! And they regen hitpoints like mad, no way could it be 1.2hp per second! Might change to using bone spirit instead, it's got a 25% damage bonus over bone spear, and I'm killing monsters one by one anyway...
I tried changing my prayer merc to holy freeze one instead. But he still got donked in a few secs when he met a lightning enchanted beast.
Some music recommendations:
* The Quake I soundtrack. Gloomy like all hell. And a pure classic.
* Anything in the WitchHouse genre, fits perfectly for a Necromancer. VALHALLs new album Grimoire is the beacon here.
* For a long, long time I've been listening to Space Ambient, also known as Sotz. There's for example "cryo sleep - zero beat guaranteed" both as a shoutcast stream, and a youtube playlist. Calms the nerves. The biggest shining star here is Carbon Based Lifeforms, their Derelics album is an incredible piece of electronica. There's also Burial, awhile ago he released his greatest hits album. And not to forget Steve Roach's 1980's masterpiece Structures from Silence.
* Anything by Velvet Acid Christ. Real demented stuff... But real well-made too.
* Red Alert soundtrack - is available on Spotify, even. Klepacki is king! An incredible piece of engineering. If you still have the game on CD, it's possible to extract more songs from the game, compared to which are available on the soundtrack.
* Monstercat releases. A huge archive is for free on youtube, and on Bandcamp you can get the songs in FLAC. Like VAC they blend every electronic genre under the sun - it's called dreamstep / glitchhop, but it's a lighter type, although they've gotten rougher lately.
* Yugen Blakrok. Metaphysical south-african emceeing. Nothing like her out there.
* Darkhalo. He's got a lot of music under his belt. A legend. On Scene.org is his mod archive (search for "dh-"), which I consider his best work. Just real chilly ambient and/or fast DnB, or its mix - Liquid DnB. Not to be confused with A Dark Halo, the metalhead copycats.
Otherwise I'd recommend just about any music, actually. Playing computer-games makes me more alert, but not like before when I got annoyed by everything. I hear every instrument and voice much clearer. Diablo II has made me fall in love with my record collection again!🖤
mad world. This is a HTML 5 game. The visuals looks real good. They're simple but detailed and quite... gory. It holds promise 🖤 Its still in closed testing, it was going to be released last winter (2022) but still isn't finished. I'd love to play this 🖤 The looks are like like a mix between the early Final Fantasy's and Diablo I.
stein.world - This seems fun. Secret of mana:ish visuals. I've just started playing it :) 🖤
So I just starting played this game more. It has a different way of controlling your character. It's real beautifully oldskool art style though, so it holds a lot of promise. It seems to be catered towards P2P (that you have to pay to enjoy it). There's something called "soulbound" which you get already at skill level 2, which I presume means you can't change the weapon or armour later, which seems really limitating. It also uses lots of computer resources for some reason (even more than Runescape!), when it's just low resolution graphics, but seems to run at max framerate of your screen, so that's the problem, or just bad coding or PR management. It's also laggy (choppy movement even) eventhough I use the european server and I'm on a fast 20 MB/s connection.
So, the graphics are cute but that's about it. It's a corrupt game, worse than Runescape even. It reminds of Ultima Underworld in how you use the interface, it's a lot of micromanagement. To use a health potion you need to select it and then click on yourself. That doesn't make combat a lot of fun.
In short: this game just annoys me. after having played it for another 30 minutes I can safely say it isn't for me. My hands are hurting from clicking and holding arrowkeys for too long.
kaetram - Hey a cute game like the SNES classic Secret of Mana. Just started playing 🖤 It's opensource too, so you can base your own game on its code :) When I just got into it, it was some dude who was lvl 226. For real! We hung out for some hours then I got despairful and didnt meet him again. Sucks. Still, try this, it's fun. Reminds more of legend of zelda 3 for the Super Nintendo maybe.
[UPDATE] Well, theyve updated the game since I last played. There's now arrows for the bows. Some small changes. It's nice! Highly recommended 🖤 It's not that complicated of a game. You can make due with just arrow keys almost. If you walk up to a tree, you chop it, if you walk up to a monster, you attack it. Quite innovative! :)
Mirage Online Classic - Quite gimpy art/sound but a nice community. They can be quite rude but theres some really nice people in the game. Can sometimes find someone cool to talk to 🖤 This and the above you can usually talk to the developers / admins / moderators even in the game, you can make a difference, don't let anyone tell you otherwise 🖤
I've played this for about 2x1 months. It's a simple game, so it's easy to learn the mechanics. It's not bad. If you are behind a restrictive firewall it might be the only chance you got at gaming. Loads near-instantly and doesn't use a lot of resources. Good randomly generated passwords so you won't get hacked.
Hey, I've played this some more. You can get to talk to the developer in-game actually, just don't be an ass. He'll ban or mute you if you misbehave. I like the community a lot, I really do. Don't know what more to say. You can trade, you can co-operate in dungeons, it's a lot of things to do even if it's a simple game. Highly recommended.
Played it even more. The main admin is a real good guy. And the lower admins too. I remember when I started out, what, 1½ year ago? The game was real fresh, it's evolved a lot since then. It's basically redneck teens which play it, but I like the community. I've gotten a friend in the game, a real friend, we have as much anxiety so we understand eachother. He's real cool anyway. He even wrote me a poem. It means a lot to me. There's not much to do in the game, most people "run dmc", which is this boss which goes down quickly if you're a couple of players, and you get 250 000 experience from it. But I still like this game, if only because of the community 🖤
Ultima Online Hey I played this in the beginning of The Nullties. It was my first Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. It had so many good ideas that have been lost since in later games. I don't know what it is like nowadays. Couldn't get it to work no matter how I tried. Has quite good graphics eventhough it's from the nineties. Low framerate of animations though. There's a special Roleplaying Server even that was quite populated back in the days. There's also player-made servers (haven't tried them though so can't vouch) with whole new maps and other ruleset, and so on. Many unique monsters and tameable creatures, animal taming is even a skill in the game. A lot of fun. Truly unique that stands out from every other MMORPG out there. If you weren't around back in the days, sorry, maybe you missed an important part of gaming history.
??? - Need to remember the name of this game. it was jocular and also SNES:ish too. Real cool.
??? - Based on the latest unreal engine. Needs a fast graphics card. I tried a hacked version, got like ½FPS at lowest settings, so it was unplayable. Has realistic physics and atmosphere with beautiful natural sunsets, and very customizable building things system, that's modular. Low download size since it's all created in real time like diablo I's dungeons. As they say, randomness is the key to happiness! Not an mmorpg, only supports a small party size.
Runescape 3 (Not Oldskool) - An epic. Many people are into statistics, but you can play the game however you want. I've roleplayed some, it's a lot of fun. So many players, just watch out for bots, skillers and the trammies (grand exchange campers). A plethora of clans to join and get friends if you've just been bullied and lied to all your life. You'll find friends here 🖤 Just be choosy what clan you choose. Dont accept twinkers (hand-me-downs) and darknet script-kiddies. Is based on Java(script?) so you can play it behind a restrictive firewall. Has like 300 quests and so much meta content. Recommended a try strongly if you havent heard about it, as they do no advertising, one of the core values of the game, is that it can only be heard of, through Word of Mouth.
So like I said I started playing this in 2020. I mention runescape to lots of people, and many say they played it as a kid. Ultima Online was a lot of fun thought when i was in my 20's, so no regrets there. Anyway I'm back on Runescape it lags and low fps and needs re-installation each time my WIFI breaks but its ok <3 You meet so many amazing people in here, and the great thing is they're on your level. They're not like the fake IRL. And besides, whats the difference between chasing "likes" and "friends" on facebok, or drinking with your mates, than xping and gping in Runescape? I see no difference, so gaming is for me <3 I've probably laid down thousand of hours on this game. Since I had self-harm before and was chaotic, I've both lost accounts and I got worse than banned lol. Anyway, it's all good, I'm in a guild now :) And found a friend, a dude who doesn't do drugs, it's amazing 🖤
There's so many specializations you can do in this game, find what fits for you. It's not just "losers" that play computergames, it's for everyone! It might seem silly, but it's not, its important 🖤 If someone says It's just a game or You're wasting your time. Ask what all those who chase likes on facebook and instagram, or try to drink more than their mates, or look the most perfect with makeup and clothes, do with their lives. It's the same thing. This is a safe haven for geeks and goths and ANY bullying victim and freaks if you wanna call us that.
A fitting quote, to explain that the game can be played in many ways: "They can have their OP items and trinkets, im busy tending my farm and fishing".
i like making egg potatoes
Money making guide: cutting willow and oak logs
Hey, I actually did something useful ^___^ Just some stats from Runescape. It won't make much sense to the ones not playing it. I get all dizzy thinking in numbers.
Bitcraft - It has promise but they give a good outer images, while the Developer Team seem like numbskulls. And real rude discord moderators too.
The game is without PVP and is supposed to be a building, gathering, politics and transporting resources game with some killing NPCs. Supposed to be a HUGE game that takes weeks to travel around the map. Similar to minecraft, if i recall correctly, in that you can "sculpt" the world. It's Based on the unreal / infinity or whatever its called engine I think.
Josh Strife Hayes. Youtube channel about tons of MMORPGs and good games, and a lot of bad, unfortunately. Highly recommended. He has VERY dry british wit. Awesome guy 🖤 Interesting comment section.
Minecraft - The graphics are horrible, I'm sorry, I can't take this seriously. If it was made in the 80's I might've cared, probably not though. It's supposed to be a World Builder game, where you can make whatever you want. Not sure what it's about. It has a good community from what i've heard, tons of players, of all sorts.
GODS UNCHAINED - An $ETH game, you can make money playing it, legally. You need to learn to play all 6 colours / elements to win though. I on the other hand was only good with 2 colours, green/black aka Nature and Death magic. A lot of fun. It has no chat system, only emojis. Is a great challenge. Reminds strongly of Magic: The Gathering, even if it has its own soul. Still quite unique.
It runs as an app so it can be iffy in gameplay speed / FPS / connectivity. Uses an algorithm for giving cards it's not random so can seem futile. I wouldnt want to play it 8-16 hours per day to make 200$.
A lot of fun though real beautiful illustrations and a good sorting system. Real nice game. You play against other players obviously. you can fuse cards if you get a special currency this is what you can trade $ETH for. etherium is a sort of like Bitcoin, decentralized currency :) It's not that huge yet you cant use it on some sites. Some stores IRL I guess accept Bitcoin:ish payment.
RPGs
All early Final Fantasy's up to 7. Try to find an emulator for 1-6. They're amazing games without gorey graphics just beautiful and bright. Good music, good sounds effects, good dialogue / storyline. Just amazing in so many ways.
Secret of Mana / Secret of Evermore / Shadowrun - some good SNES games. Shadowrun is a cyberpunk game real cool.
Some old games might be on STEAM or as emulated on new video games I dunno.
Home of the Underdogs - Hey you might find an old favorite on this site. It's supposed to give hommage to games which didn't turn very popular. So they can have the site up in the name of the "Fair Use" principle. Even has games from the 1980's, like for example text based (MUDs).
Remember to search on an old game on youtube, and adding words such "speedrun", "music" or "cover". A lot is available. It's real fun. Enjoy the internet while it lasts! 🖤 :) We're all part of DARPA lifescience, IRL as well. Sometime in the future everything will be gone. Everything will be gone. We'll just be in the clouds like Miley Cyrus says :( :) 🖤
"This is absolutely the most exciting time you could ever hope to be alive"
IRL
A)
In Sweden, as I haven't been to many other places, there is for example on Kungsträdgården (a garden near central station in stockholm) often happenings. To name a few:
1) Sakura day. On the 25:th of march each year 🖤 They might bloom earlier or later, you never know. What is on the menu is of course cultured food, but also mangas, cosplay, kendo - just lots of things pertaining to everything Japanese, you can even buy kimonos and obviously asian food and drinks too. Highly recommended. The Garden has a lot of cherry trees so it's just a perfect day to be there, to celebrate Spring 🖤
Last time I was there there were some Nazis protesting, hey, if you don't like foreigners "get the fuck off the planet" as Uncle Felipe says 🖤
2) Hindu day. Usually just a lot of different indic food mostly. So tasty. I love indic cooking do some myself.
3) Extreme cooking day. I ate crocodile (was like yellow chicken) and tasted garlic beer (ok that was a lie but i presume its real funky lol). Real cool cooking try something unusual.
B) Just try acting differently, using unique clothes / unusual makeup / (lots of) accessories. Dye your hair blonde or black or neon. Be yourself. Express yourself like Madonna says 🖤 Try to talk in a different ways. Like a movie star or series character or gaming NPC or from a book. It's easier than you think, to be "in character".
Be yourself but see yourself in others. The ultimate emotion is empathy 🖤 If youre a guy use dresses and nailpolish its not that hard to paint it and it lasts a few days even if you shower. If youre a girl use buttoned oversized (lumberjack) shirts / baggy clothes (hey its trendy for girls even) and dont shave haha / use short hair / shave it allllllll off like sinead o'connor (DARE). The sky's the limit 🖤 Get tatus theyre beautiful it'll change your life 🖤
3) Ångestparaden. Made by Fountain House Stockholm.
BOOKS
Yes, these magical things made out of trees, our ancestors. There are roleplaying books actually, called "Choose your Adventure". You start at the first page, then when you've read a few pages, it says "choose page 3, 17 or 38" for example. These didn't really do it for me, but my BFF liked them.
He also finished Zelda for the Nintendo Gameboy. He was a prodigy. He's now a Computer Security expert. I really wonder what's up with him these days. I found him on facebook but I don't think he's added me back yet, if he ever will. He just had an avatar and nothing else.
The Last Question. I found this linked on Slashdot back in the days. Isaac Asimov made it available online a long time ago. He wrote it in 1956, maybe CERN or some other research centre had internet back then, who knows? It's for the betterment of society, and us as a species, like all good Science Fiction is.
DRAMAS
I have to mention Dexter, since the first non-fiction books in the western world were a mix of Horror, Sci-Fi and Fantasy. Is a really well-made book and drama series. I recommend both reading and watching it. It's about a serial killer but it's with a 🖤 Like asian movies usually are. They can be about awful things, but they still remember the core of things.
Scrubs. A comedy series without canned laughter. Really good. Highly recommended.
OLD GAMES
Diablo I - This was actually not made by Blizzard, which explains how it could have such atmospheric cut-scenes, which are unprecendented in gaming, to this day 🖤 It had real good graphics for its time - both pre-rendered 3d and real nice pixel art, well-made sound effects too, and original gameplay, as each time you logged online, a new randomly generated dungeon was presented to you. Was only for a few players at once though.
The soundtrack in and of itself has inspired a plethora of metal and electronica musicians in the especially dark versions of those genres.
If you didn't know, the electronic genre of music spawned from mainly 2 genres:
* ARTROCK - This existed already in the 1950's actually, with for example the apartment-big synth made especially for the swedish space movie "Aniara". It was mostly made up by upper-class white males, people with a higher education, or ones that understand electronics beyond playing a simple pop melody over and over. Or as
It can be said to be "complicated" / "hard to get" music, but Steve Roach's Dream Sotz masterpiece "Structures from Silence" is something that speaks to everyone. If you look it up in a Wav Editor, you'll see that it's just 3 Sine Waves, how he made it is still a mystery.
Artrock is often made to be played in art galleries, or unusual museum exhibits. It can be said to be more "concept art" than anything else. The practioners often pride themselves in revealing their often simple "method" as if they were scientists, and how expensive the equipment they use for it is.
This also ties in with what is termed "euro-crack", or Eurorack as they are really called. They are modular synth systems, which you can hear geeks audibly drooling over how "many frequencies" they excibit. I, personally, don't understand them at all. I tried a software version, and all I could achieve was a car alarm and a dogbark after a days stress-test. Still, in Ableton I often use layered randomness and/or chaotic synth playing. So without knowing it, I've been an "Art-Rocker" all along.
* HIPHOP - In the 1970s, a lot of black LBGT musicians, were the first to experiment with electronic sounds, in a poppier fashion. If you dare to challenge your gender roles, you also dare, to expand the horizons, of music, as well.
Hey, that's it, and that's that. I hope you got something out of this. It's a new way for me to write, now 2 years since Bella left me I realized I don't have to go out of my way to impress people, because most stay silent or don't say much. As they say, Be yourself, everyone else already exists.
THE GEEK ILLNESS
Hey this might be my little treasure trove of geekiness on the interweb. What I'm about to talk about isn't Aspbergers. It's something much more severe. It's called fibromyalgia. Officially, people only say it's "lots of pain". Unofficially, it's metal- and electricity oversensitivity. The truth though, is that the person who has fibromyalgia, has wrecked their lymphic system, which is why, when you get older, some things hang - it's not fat, it's a collection of lymphs. The lymphs are all over your body, probably in your brain too, like a three-dimensional web. Whenever you move your body, such as taking long walks in the woods, your lymphic system works to make everything else in your body work. If you're like me though, you spent the majority of your teen days and probably adult days too, sitting in front of a computer, or lying in bed with your smartphone by your side.
Now I'll just have to mention that I bought anti-histamines. I took these years ago, and they had good effect, so good effect actually, that I unfortunately stopped taking them. I bought some standard brand at the drugstore which was thirty pills at 10 milligrams each. As I had anxiety at the time, I put my grocery bag on the table, took a pill, and tried to rest. I can safely say it probably had a negative effect on my heart, or maybe it fixed it up some. In either case, lying on my left side was a bad idea. Otherwise, I feel more free in the body, more lean, like I'd gone to the massage parlour, I was literally floating on clouds, didn't want to get out of bed. Histamines are red colourants, maybe related to red blood cells. I don't really know what they do, but if you get cramps and have a stale demeanor, try antihistamines.

updated with lots of things. if you should only play 1 mmorpg / game, try ultima online outlands. its free! completely. unlike regular uo where to use good items you need a payed version with subscription?
1st character, SeasiepiePisces, Classic Swordsman, main, 2025
no magic resist! the new focus skill isntead. i just deleted all my magic resist points on all my chars in revolution to its oppiness.
2nd character, Ryzynxouir, Backstabber, Self Surviving
yes, happened to pk a whee too much with him 😳 so now hes a resident of corpse creek for awhile. until hes down to 4 pks in which ill bust him up to 5 in no time and be back lol. still its good, it makes me level him instead of having "fun" and looting.
3th character, D'Enc'tiZx, Featherweight Ironman Boxer
a lot of fun, finally pk'd with him :)
he hits fast like a dagger
and as accurate as a bow
and damn the hits hurt too!
harpies dont like him though :(
4th character, Pzcyukmoik, Tamer Bard Macer
a real weird combo. a lot of skills. i prefered him at 70x10.
1 taming
2 animal lore
3 herding, this increases damage and attack speed and accuracy and things for pets i think?
4 veterinary
5 macing, just use a 2handed weapon and you do 1handed damage, dont need tactics
6 parrying, works even for 2handed, levels slowly. the max i got on a char is 85.
7 musicianship
8 discordance
9 peacemaking
10 provocation, didnt really use this much. but together with herding crook you can give bonuses to friends and pets and summons :) and its not good unless its at a perfect level or you only provoke lower level creatures, since when it fails, which these skills do, it provokes the failed monsters towards you. since when youre deep and down vetting them, that makes you die quickly. which brings us to the next char
5th character, Thael'Why, Mage Tamer
i just had to. yes i got 2 tamers. they mostly just tame horses and and level em to 1 and sell em for NOTREALLYENOUGHsothemountmarketcrashes! refilling reagents isnt fun and them running out after less than an hour. and you cant have too much and because you get pkd then. anyway, never bother going to valloria. all the banksitters are really pks in disguise, like makeshift assassins. scouring for newbs to kill when they dare step outside town with some nice gear. or they turn into them.
6th character, Muoldoura, Archer Carpenter
im level 77 or something forensic evaluation on him, so im getting higher level leather. its nice :)
7th character, Wyxxzxz Oxeexex, Hardcore Ironman Fisher
yes just started him. he has leveled a total of 3 skills! begging, for fisherman needs actually later on, really a bother to skill up, you can only beg against an npc once a day. and fishing and camping. not sure what else skills to put on him. im taking it easy :)
8th character, Thamrik Smoulder, Mining Smithy Defence
yes a classic mining smithy, dont need more muling on him, so ill add classic damage skills. pickaxes are lethal btw :) i tried to pk a guy in the winterlands, and as i was watching the healthbar it was really mine going down lol. he can easily make like 50k per hour or more. you get 2 ingots per ore and here its 100% chance to smelt. hes also got camping jsut like wyz but for the increased backpack size. ore weighs a lot :)

heres is a plain copy and paste from there. beware. this is 75k :) dw supports max 300k. ill see ya when you get there. "dont fear perfection, youll never reach it". 🫕
The October 26th Midnight Massacre

A newb who'd just been playing for 2 weeks—but surely been PK'd 30 times already—had had enough. He was gonna do a bot massacre. He'd noticed PKing before: north of Prevalia, people didn't even react. Not to greys, not to corpses, not to fighting—nothing
Not only would he PK apocalyptically and unapologetically, he would do it on a fresh account, and rack up kills faster than once a minute, against seemingly near-grandmastered accounts, who were controlled in bot fashion: first run to Boney, the battle trainer, then summon water elementals when in need? Then run away when low on health, or auto-bandage.
Or what about running around screaming at the top of their lungs, "GUARDS! GUARDS! GUARDS!" while nothing happened? In total, after 7 minutes—including starting the game, choosing a name (the fittingly titled ThrowAwayPK), choosing skills and stats, running to the omnibot place, and using that lethal newbie axe—he'd managed to rack up 9 kills before someone really reacted.
And Outlandia was never the same. No one ever botted anymore. No one ever used 20 fishing poles and 20 skillets on a fisher. People started enjoying the game more. And it spread to IRL, and world peace was achieved with Agenda2030 only 5 years later—because whoever wasn't a bot then was organ-dealed.

uo pvp and outlands is the same
as when the game got released almost.
in outlands youll often find 2 mage pks,
the spells, as i hate magery,
seems to be explo + mindblast x2,
this does 30*4 dmg even
with high resisting spells,
so takes down almost anyone
as soon as you see the
red names on your screen.
its silly unbalanced.
even with just 1 mage.
im sure if they balanced it
people would just gang up in 4s.
magery has hiding, aka invisiblity,
taming, summoning,
making food, cooking,
so many other things, just for free.
even ranged attacks
its much better and more
powerful than archery.
the op factor is just silly.
when i mentioned this as a
suggestion one guy said
"best one id ever heard",
but then others chimed
in the dark side with
"then people would have
to remake their builds".
yeah, so bothersome to
start with magery skills at 60,
level them to 80 in newbie dungeon
then afk for a day and
get gm or higher.
would take no time at all.
anyway, ive started 2
ironman characters.
i choose only useless
skills and stats
like 80 int, 80 str, 25 dex
so it should be challenging.
on my boxer i
barely managed
to master a bird.
after that i found a nice
place with 6 bird spawns.
after 50 of those kills my
combat one skills
were already in the 50s.
im evolving him,
but the vendor scene
is really offputting,
they only have whats popular.
can barely find low level
or iron items on them.
i also have a poisoner pk and
poisoned weapons arent
easy to find either.
my second ironman is a fisher.
i started the game by begging to
afford a horse and fishing rod.
then i noticed
you can get a
crew member at
80 begging.
will take a long
time to level.
anyway, rpg means you
roleplay a unique character,
you shouldnt be a cookie cutter.
mmo means you interact with others,
not just to twink and be
twinked and level easily.
actually to talk to them,
to be "in character" and do
something interesting

Fil:Inflation in the mount market 2.png
its fun when you can affect the game
without fucking it up, but im not sure of this lol
so when i started my tamer, i noticed a guy had horses
at 555 gp, they were mostly lvl 0 so no bonded so not very
useful for newbs without any skillpoints in taming and lore
i figured id breed a bunch of lvl 1s and do
them at 500 gp. he didnt lower, but instead tamed loads
and loads, i mean just check it its like 5 pages or more
of horses from a south west town where its 4 spawns for
maximum zero effort. well, later, the lvl 1s costed 1k
and the lvl0s 500gp. but now he changed his mind haha.
what i wonder though, is it really newbs buying this?
or is it horse breeders hoping for weird colour combinations
trying to make an easy buck then selling em for millions?
i guess well never know. so much to learn about this game.
as for stock market manipulation, this is my first :)
helping newbs
the thing i like most
about online games,
beyond anything else,
leveling, skills, gp, op items,
is helping newbs.
it doesnt happen that often though.
when i was 30 i wanted to be a father.
i have several kids
but ive never met em,
unfortunately.
so this is like surragate of it.
i enjoy my life and take it easy.
i might get pissed off but
i get calm just as quickly.
i guess ill live a long time.
next aim is 999 ai songs.
maybe 99 custom made videos?
i should collect em!
that creepy silence around psychos who kill for sport
why is everyone quiet
in the bank area
of ultima online?
thats always puzzled me
but now it makes sense
all the banksitters are not
just posers and item hoarders
but full fledged psychopaths
they scour for victims there
then when you leave town
youre dead in a few mins
from one of their many
many alt accounts
if you got high level crafted
items or just 1 magic one
they have gear on their
sitter character worth
10s of millions if not more
but they prefer pking newbs
with gear worth 10-20k
the strange thing is
this isnt what its
like in runescape
the grand exchange
is a real talkative place
sometimes it can be boring
but you can get
good conversations
help newbs, or teach
an old dog a new trick
but the old dogs in ultima online
are only sick freaks nothing else

ive played the
char a lot more
as you see by
the skills, many
ill drop at higher
levels obviously
i do most 3 dmg
but my swing speed
is about 1.2 secs
so its pretty good
i guess against 0
def npc if i can find
em it might be 4-5
dmg or something
nothing much is
needed to make
someone happy
the problem is
when you try to
be happier than
anyone else, but
its a relative concept
so why bother?
you can play a very
simple game and
still enjoy it, like
snake on old nokia
phones. theres no real
requirement for what is
fun. you can play
strategy or turnbased
or action based on cosmetic
like the sims or runescape
without ironman lol or puzzlers
like tetris or more advanced
ones like the classic myth
really, the skys the limit, just
dont limit yourself. enjoy yourself
while playing. thats the point.
its not supposed to be a job.
its not supposed to be boring.
its not supposed to be easy either
not too easy
there should be some challenge
which you have with pks in this game
yes, they flock around you like
doves around oat flakes
as soon as you have high level
crafted or good magic items
but thats ok. so this character
as you saw in a previous video
cant actually handle bulls yet
im not sure what i should max
attack speed or damage? since
damage almost never goes up
NOTES
so i evolved my videostyle.
its still quite clunky.
and the 2 different audio
parts are varying db levels.
and kdenlive is buggy.
but i understand it better
that is, at all heh
anyway, before i just started with this,
i was listening to super mario bros 3.
so i figured, why not do it proper
vapourwave style and
add in some effects?
then i added some music
from there as well.
i kept it fairly low volume, -17db,
to not interfere with the vocals.
im not using memes lol.
but yes the volume level fucked up
or is it the automagic
limiter + compressor
that many sites have
that ruined it?

having it easy is just as
bad as having it difficult
isnt it strange how it is?
as they say
i dont think it was in
the creation idea for god
that we should be happy all the time
because we get a lot of joy
from a contrast, and very
seldom from how things are
anyway, as for easy leveling in outlands
it just eats your soul
instead of working for gains
you just get it automagically
then youre supposed to do that
for all your characters?
after the first i just
exited that place directly
then i got yelled out and
made a mage that way
and god damn, just removed
all fun from the game
having everything served to you
is just as bad as having
to work your ass off
its actually worse than that
another quote
nearly any man
can stand adversity
but if you want to
test a mans character
give him power
and ill end this
with another one
not necessity
not desire
no
the love
of power
is the
demon of men
let them have
everything
health food
a place to live
entertainment
they are and remain unhappy
and low-spirited
for the demon waits and
waits and will be satisfied
and i got another
the best one
power tends to corrupt and
absolute power corrupts absolutely
great men are almost always bad men
even when they exercise
influence and not authority
still more when you superadd
the tendency of the certainty
of corruption by authority
pking and banksitters
Fil:Etherether - pking and banksitters, an mmorpg essay (talk).flac
call out to all rich miners/lumbers in ultima online (outlands) get 7 defensive skills!
if your main income is from resource gathering,
you should really have 7 defensive skills.
or rather offensive ones.
my first successfull pking in the game was today,
using a gateway to a non populated place.
never been there before.
lots of houses and snow,
nearly no challenging monsters to talk of either.
now, i dont go out of my way to pk.
i just explore and do whatever i feel like.
it takes me around 10 secs from when i see a
person to when im whiffing against them.
you see, i got 2 low level offensive
skills, fencing and poisoning.
if i used swordsmanship and a katana
the bleed special attack would do more
damage than my meager extra output.
and you can poison swords as well.
but i want to keep in character.
except those i got alchemy and cooking,
since i got neither healing
or magery on my account,
and need some sort of healing,
and i dont want to buy everything,
what we called "twink" back in the days,
which was deregatory term, as was "trammie",
but now everyone wants to
have it easy, aka banksitters,
also a negative expression then,
and act like a blonde, with their 100s
of makeup items that do nothing except
empty their bank accounts and soul.
as for the pkd miner, she tried to use greater heal
after about 15 seconds she was down
the second one tried only "heal", so i guess
she had 25 magery or what? it didnt work.
after about 3 tries she ran to town, while
the guy next to her insta teleported away,
they could have easily handled me
2 more ran to town quickly, and the last
was original, he seemingly had
grandmaster hiding and stealth
just disappeared after some trees
the strange thing was,
he had an earth elemental
as a protector, but i guess freaked
out too much to react intelligently
so that would mean i should have detect hidden
or i should make a dedicated another pk
magery though? never. theyre just so dull
overpowered and resource hungry
grandmaster
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-24 083325.png
6x grandmaster, sure wish it had bells and whistles and fanfare and fireworkrs just like in runescape. now since codexes are quite useless except fighting 1 enemy then waiting to out of war mode for 2 mins and then waiting for the mana to regenerate. it seems more logical to bust one of the support skills for hiding and stealth so you can do 8-16x backstabs. whith ones? parrying obviuosly, and focus? theres too many skills that do damage, not enough to resist and defence. like why would lumber now get a mealsy 10% dmg boost? why not 30% def boost. if you hav
e a complete mulified accuont, it should be a powerhouse can take carry 3000 stones and have loads of defence capabilities.
Fil:5x grandmaster.png
yes, 5x grandmaster today
he can almost master ogres without healing
the disappointing thing was codexes though
you need 1 very specific one, not as useless
as the aspect which you lose when you die
which in outlands is several times per day
but codex uses mana. so you should have high
int and leather armour for better regeneration?
sort of defeats the purpose of a fighter build
doesnt it? and it doesnt help defence that way
and 28% damage reduction is useless if youve
got leather armour. you could use high level
version of it, but again, then you just get pkd
and your stuff taken. so another useless system
everyone says newbs should invest it. atvi!
but i get what they mean with "glass cannons"
no def or any hp, why not, 100 dex and 25 str
and 100 int? how dumb. could work for a
backstabber though, but then you dont
need high mana for codex.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-16 082959.png
well, not much to talk about
it trains automagically
just had the comp on
while sleeping
yes its the boxer
finally outfitted him
with some vendor armour
and hes now
training parrying
majorly needed
Fil:Grandmaster shade second gm.png
trained it naturally to maybe 87.
then cheated with a simple loop macro.
the only thing that worked.
look further down for my backstabber story.
most ive done is over 700 damage! wow.
im figuring of changing my swordsman
to have hiding and stealth, he could surely
do 2000 damage? and with codex, even more.
i wish there were even slower weapons, like
speed 15 10 even 5. for 10 second between hits.
would make "lancing" or turn hitting more effective
how i always played my archer with a heavy crossbow
that has a swingrate of 3 seconds. and they nerfed
its range? just silly. they love their instakill
2x mage pks surely the devs.
guild
anyway, someone said
you could create a guild
just for yourself, i should
really have invited that guy
the other day. anyway, i have
invited all my accounts lol

i wont add my 2 seasiepiepisces
since the names are so cringe
you can rename your char

76 archery
85 tactics
70 anatom
66 arms lore
67 focus

dps fluctuated between 24 to 26
108 leather 28 ribs
strangely enough
just like vanilla back in the days
archery just hits a lot more?
this one had 140 wrest
and nearly every shot hit
i notice that with
other npcs as well
and i remember the adrenalien
rush from being pkd
with that wellknown
k-tchunk sound from
a ranged weapon
should have taken about
9.3 mins to take down anyway
again in vanilla i retrofitted
my blacksmith with just archery and tactics
and took down a skeleton dragon
they moved real quickly
dont remember if they
even had dragonbreath
or magic was quite the
feat for a kid :)
which is the best physical damage skill
without a doubt swordsmanship
i just tried fighting an
ogre with my 6x grandmaster
what i got was a not so amazing
58dps, damage per second
but 1/3 of that damage was
the bleed special attack
so it does a lot of damage
a lot more than poisoning
still, im intent on getting
+20 skills from orbs
and adding 40 poisoning
parrying is rising slowly at 81
different material
fights the monster alone
it wont get full xp

37 wight
40 ogre
this is disappoing indeed, i thought
it was different just some day ago?
even worse, if you lure a spellcaster or whatever
and you seemingly do some damage, your pet gets 0 xp?
i guess thats to prevent ez xp, but it also prevents
me from being a tamer dexxer, or even a tamer bard dexxer
like i am. really disappoing. of course if i have lvl 10
pets it wouldnt be a problem, but thats a long time away.
like months of training.
understanding weapon damage and armour rating
Fil:Damage 6x grandmaster swordsman exceptional iron.png
cutlass weapon by the way
another part. as i said in another place, this char
with gm mastercraft iron weap and armour does 58DPS to ogres
quite alright. lots of stats here and synergy bonuses.
im thinking of switching tracking for something else.
cooking? then i get swing speed from delectable food more.
i will grandmaster parrying, it will just take a long time.
maybe ill have codex defence lvl 7 so ill be able to solo
ogres without bandages, who knows? thats my goal right now
inspired by my ironman who is still not stronger than bulls lol
ive tamed a bull btw it has real good stats 😁
i dont find leveling pets fun
but it sure is fun to tame horses
lvl em 1 then sell em for 500gp
except theres comepeition in the game
someone else has like 5 pages of 1k lvl 1 horses?
and someone started with 500gp ones as well
separate from the old 500gp price
who will flourish?
who will survive?
do the 1k+ sell at all?
to who? news? do they even know how it works?
or is it solely sold to breeders so they can
make ususual coloured horses that sell for millions
and make a lot of bucks from our hard work?
well thats irl alright, thats global trade
he that dont shall lose, he that have shall flourish
i do know i like doing it, so until lvl 1 horses
plummet to 100gp ill keep training em, and if it gets
that bad ill give all my 10 chars a lvl 10 horse with
good stats for xmas pres! :) remember, theyre all in my
imaginary guild lol. ive tried to invite 3 people but none
have said yes. i sorta forget to ask mostly.
Fil:Stats swordsman 95-100 skill.png
so it says my damage potential is 80-160
weapon special damage makes no sense, i get
5 bleed attacks on a successfull strike
which do about 25 damage, so thats 125
fighting several rebel soldiers with 50 armour
and i presume them having parrying skill
and an exceptional great axe and 95-100
combat skills including 40 lumberjacking
shows my damage is 25-115dmg
while against an orc with 25
armour, and no parry, its 87-143dmg
so it seems 25 more armour reduces
the max damage by 25 but not the minimum
except 25-28, the damage was otherwise
minimum 87 just like against the orc
parry reducing damage by 75% would mean a 115 dmg attack
would be reduced to 29 damage, sounds about right

Build Ideas
10x70 skill Tamer Bard Macer
i just like using them wooden weapons and shields
the build is very simple and can be
"completed easily on newbie island"
it is the following
1 taming
2 animal lore
3 herding
4 veterinary
5 musicianship
6 discord
7 peacemaking
8 provocation
9 mace fighting
10 parrying
and the dull 100str 100dex 25 int
the thing is, with 10 skills
you can obviously just have 70 points in each
all i did much with this build
was fight ettins and ogres
they give about 40xp each
so you only need to kill 3
to train horses to level 1
then i sold em for 500gp
i mean money is relative
personally, if i got 100k
or 10 bucks i waste
it just as quickly
i never learned
the worth of things
but in a good way too
because i realized my worth isnt in
bling or numbers of "friends" on
social media who dont care about you at all
your worth is solely dependant on yourself
yes, i feel uselss sometimes
have really horrible moments
but not because someone in my clan
has 20 million more gp than me?
1st character, SeasiepiePisces, Classic Swordsman
600 px
well wouldnt you know,
i bought a tracking skillscroll
i was slow though,
it was right next to
griefing ville aka prevalia
so i got it stolen. not to hulk though,
i went south and killed a skeleton?
wouldnt you know,
it had a +max skill orb.
when i check the vendor index
it only costs 10k?
so i bought 2 more. real nice.
i think ill put poisoning on this guy.
if i can manage to boost to +20.
probably wont make much difference,
but how much would +2% dmg do?
maybe ill pk with him, just once, lol.
i sorta like my title though
or remove focus and parrying
for hiding and stealth.
even my fencer with near
zero damage skills
did a backstab with
above 700 damage!
imagine with an axe
of mine, 5000?
Fil:4 gmSkärmbild 2025-10-19 154812.png
4x grandmaster, doesnt seem like i got any bonus there
for any of them, healing gives 50 hp, its sad, it
should be 1 point per skill, and then anatomy is
supposed to add to it? maybe it doesnt. it was
a mistake choosing focus, i should have gone
with magic resist. it limits what enemies you
can fight. still, i wont against a wisp, compared
to vanilla it had lots of loot, 1600gp even, nice.
Fil:Rat bastards Skärmbild 2025-10-19 152134.png
yes, about 5 corpses from me and 3 from others
lumberjacks who were surprised running to town
as a rat camp had opened, they are real tough
in ultima online. both melee and poison and magic.
i wish id stayed with magic
resist and dropped focus instead
theres so many enemies im missing out on.
ill obviously never be able to
master a dragon with this build
maybe with a halberd or axe
and turnhitting
right now im trying to get my parrying
up since it works with 2handed as well
but it doesnt give much points unless you use a shield
its 50% chance to reduce damage by 75% at grandmaster
so 40% less damage, pretty nice, i also got a warrior
codex from a newb quest so ill use the defensive one
for more resist vs enemies. its leveling fast, soon
ill have enough points for lvl 7, theres 7 levels.
with 4% resist per, so 21 in total, will be nice.
would be nice with magic items or high level crafted
but you just get pkd then
Fil:First key.png
this was cool
had anxiety
went online after some hours
could only stand it 15 mins
but was fighting uruks
together with the npcs
got a key to a locked chest
was quite low level, but
a new achievement
97-100 combat skills
cutlass
dmg to ettin 33-51
bleeds 12-15 dmg
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-17 045432.png
as i said to a person on discord
"pks can smell good items"
she replied
"they can smell helplessness"
well, both i guess
here id been outside town for like 2 mins
and a mage runs up to me, a red even
from nowhere
if i have low level items,
i dont see pks for hours
even if im afk for hours as well
nothing ever happens
just like a guy said
the mage seemingly used
the paralyze spell on me
just as i was looting a corpse?
if hed timed it some sec before
id been stuck trying to see what
the corrupted digits
said in the captcha
yeah, id equipped an avarite sword
and a verite shield
stupid obviously
but i figured i
would stay near town
it was a mage pk
theres nothing about them
i feel like picking
up the names of them
and finding their
non mage chars
and pking em
dunno how id do that
they just piss me off so much
and its worse than i thought
they got the invisibility spell
baam, gm hiding in something
anyone can cast
then they got even high level summoning
bang, gm animal lore and taming
and so much more, its so sick
Fil:Codex of swords.png
yes, as i mentioned in a vid id prefered
the codex of parrying, since its only 100hp
and that doesnt last long, especially with
a healing time of 12 seconds. that means
if a monster does more than 8 damage per
second, youre dead. and that sounds pretty
low right? thats why parrying helps a lot.
anyway i figured out afterwards why i dont
get gains, i use a 2hand weapon! so im
switching to shield and sword i guess?
one idea would be to drop anatomy or
arms lore and do poisoning instead.
probably doesnt increase the damage
more, but its fun with pking, when
people get poisoned they freak out
completely, start trying to use heal
spell? theyve never been damaged in
their whole characters
twink development it seems?
at grandmaster level parrying decreases
the overall damage by
around 40%, thats a lot.
also, just this player made iron shield
gives 22 armour on its own, thats real good
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-11 160214.png
managed to stay alive in the orcfort.
mostly other pvmers and never any pks
orc lords werent that challenging, but
without magic resist i avoid spellcasters
which i did before anyway, fighting them
is just so dull, they do too much damage
no matter what. anyway, as you can see im
already 30% to my first point. but you seemingly
need loads. im not in a rush though, and doing
high level pvm beyond even dragons will be fun.
Fil:Grandmaster.png
so it seems when you
grandmaster, 100 points a skill
you can gain more fame and karma
so now im "fair" :)
i was thinking of pking with
but i dont want to ruin that title
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-11 121738.png
correction: i suppose the 30 damages are from the mages.
and its explo + mind blast x2. so 30 dmg
each time, with 90 in swordsmanship as well
yeah, a log of the damages. starting at 12:10 the first one was harm
the second one as well, then 2 explosions. then harm again.
just no effort whatsoever in it. could just as well be bots.
again, with originally 72 resist and 74 parry. shouldnt
anatomy protect somehow? and this was with food bonus
spell siphon and "sacret journey" whatever that is.
its so sad. and so unbalanced. neither the original
creators or the modders have bothered with it at all
for over 2 decades. i dont remember if it was 2 or 3 pks.
even better, the prepare the explo spell offscreen, then
when theyve cast that there is a 2 second delay or whatever
then they immediatly cast harm which automagically hits
directly. so horribly unbalanced. anyway, in protest and
becauze i want to grandmaster my skills ill put resist
spells to 0. so i wont be able to fight dragons then-
which is disappoing. but anywhere with good loot is pks
so its seemingly impossible anyway. anyway, im gonna buy
a lethal poison dagger and maybe try to snag em in the
elbow some. you cant poison arrows? hmph. you can poison
with spells even. back in the days they used to use poison
wall bug inside your house to kill you.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-11 121207.png
got stuck in a jungle with high level monsters.
try to use stucky option to tele to town.
got there through a vendor moongate.
just as i press the button i see 2 pks.
i died in a few secs, as usual.
mages, as usual. resist spells helps
nothing there, as usual. the spells
always hit, as usual. eventough i got
74 parry, as usual. theres just no effort
to it, and then that leveling battle skills
is so easy means everyone can pk anyone
they want without effort. just a few spells.
do it in team and 99% success rate.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-11 115104.png
yes, this one im not bored of. except the whole resisting spells debacle.
it barely resists spells. and i dont wants lots of skills at lvl 80
then my character is almost done. after a week or two of playtime?
thats sad. so yes im gonna eradicate resisting spells. if i lower
arms lore my weapons will break and armour too. id rather not.
i want resisting spells to resist spells, not give weapon bonuses.
thats fixing a problem which isnt there with something even worse.
just nerf magery already. both for pvp and pvm.
2nd character, Ryzynxouir, Backstabber, Self Surviving
Fil:Cooking in the wilderness.png
well he is a self survivor
scout maybe,
i made him like
that in the beginning
like i say in other places,
with only 180 skillpoints
you increase your damage by 10x,
what would be better? =)
so im cooking food from
another character,
neither of us got pkd
takes awhile to prepare 500 ribs
the moongate is pretty near
anyway, corpse creek or
not ill be alright
it was only because of
here that i put
arslet i vagnen
and got stealth to 80
i mean if i managed to pk everyone
i wanted id been ranking
up -13 by now lol
fought an ettin in the shadows :)
no screenies, had too much fun
wasnt thinking about it
sure saved up on bandies
and was maybe 4x faster
i whiffed after awhile
so that wasnt fun
and youre not on a

easy to run away from
the monsters either
ettin
5000hp
melee 40-50
wrestling 75
armour 25
610-698 dmg backstab
also managed to
down a gazer larva
that was 3 ryggdunkar
as we say in sweden :)
yes im still where pks go to die
my verdict is 2 days 11 hours away

yes, so theres the skills. looks better than excel things.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-21 100644.png
so now i can backstab? i hope it works.
i did this build specifically for pvp
but backstab doesnt even add 25% dmg there!
so its 800-1600% dmg based on weapon speed?
so harpoons make the most? can you backstab
at a distance? lol. probably not. anyway.
this will be fun! ^_____________^
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-21 084713.png
so im in murderers creek. where pks come to die.
yeah when you have 5 or more counts and die
you can only stucky option to that place.
and you can get pkd in town without repercussions.
its quite a mess, lol. anyway, a chick found me
there, we had a nice convo eventually. she pkd
me like 20 times haha. anyway, its like a prison
colony. you get calm. do what youre supposed to.
it will literally take half a month to remove the
5 murders from this account. at the very least.
it would be cool if they had labour so you could
reduce it faster? heh. anyway. just playing different
chars. think still im gonna make 10 level 10 low level
mounts so the dont die as quickly. i got 2 tamers now! =)
one with magery. its just so fun. lvl 1'd my 5 horses
on low level monsters. then i happened to kill 2 gazers?
that was like 120 xp! woah! and they killed 2 of my horsies
so its relative. anyway. its easy to have fun. dont be effective
when youre playing a fucking game. youre surely not that IRL
if you even have a job you slob.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-20 175200.png
that took awhile. im not in a rush though.
joy isnt relative. its simple.
even if you cant feel anything
you can still feel joy. eventhough
it feels fake then.
well this surely
was adrenaline rushing
so i figured id camp
at that winter area
where they mine carelessly
well, after only 10 mins or so
someone was digging a treasure there?
so i sneaked close
and landed several hits
including a poisoning
he was at 1/3 hp
then he sent his pets after
me but they did nothing?
didnt land any more hits
he ran back to
get more loot lol
i shoulda waited
1 alchemy 63
2 cooking 74
3 taste id 51
4 fencing 74
5 poisoning 60
6 hiding 100
7 stealth 73
so thats what itll be
like at grandmaster
the build holds up!
it seems people think
if you use a shortspear
youre a pk, and i prefered
the normal slow spear
then they predict nothing, lol
oh yes, was worrying
about pvm strength
but then backstabbing
will be available
btw i saw a guy mentioning
in the trade part of discord
before i got banned that
he would cook
your raw food for you
well it was better
first i got 100 delectable food
then a 1000 more
that will last me awhile
i noticed they cost about 100gp each
so thats 100k! nice
even with all the pkings i go plus
but for many builds you dont
especially with magery heals
or potions its not
just wish eating food was faster
than once per min
but really, normal healing
or magery healing isnt needed
when you got cooking
and pots and maybe taste id
Fil:Thanks for all the fish Skärmbild 2025-10-20 001816.png

Fil:Fencer poisoner vs gm swordser Skärmbild 2025-10-19 103617.png
its funny, even without magic resist my fencer poisoner without
much offensive skills or very high level ones, still outperforms
my grandmaster swordsman against magical creatures. i know i wouldnt
have been able to handle this one. but cooking and alchemy gives bonus
to heals with food and potions, and also bonus to poison damage. its
fun its a viable build, even for pking. ive done 2 pkills so far, dont
know if ive mentioned. this whole page is 45k now! wow.

oh, i got pkd, he sorta did it rp style
not hardcore, and i got in some hits
he was whiffing a lot in the beginning
a real high level character with lots

me in a second. so happy im not finding
double mage pks anymore that do mindblast
+ explo and as soon as you see a red name
youre basically dead after youve blinked.
anyway, adrenaline rush, especially as i
was talking to a newb at the same time, and
he did greater heal on me
and flamestrike on the pk
as for my pvm playing style
well, its a lot of turn hitting
and running away from the monster and with gm hiding its easier
but not really needed, i notice on my archer monsters get bored
if you get only like 12 tiles away? nice nerf there, not like
they are overpowered. bolts and arrows cost through the roof.
you can use a 1000 in an hour or more. quivers are nice but
i dont want to pay 100k for 70% reduction when im gonna get
pkd with that item on me in a few mins.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-16 172414.png
anyway, the new build idea, and as my main 7 skills are only
480 points i can now at least afford a lot of support skills.
it is neat though i can survive with just 1 single battle skill
just like a mage except without magery and just some meager
poison damage. you can gain easily with a lot of skills, but
ive only used poisoning with 30 hours of play maybe like 20
or 30 times, and its raised my skill level nothing. why not
gain in the skill when you use it, aka, when you poison npcs
or players? like if they got poison resistance and you manage
to damage them still? or a small skill check even every time
you do a poison tick? right now its just pathetic, its still
staying at 60 skill points. i dont get why such a nerfed skill
should cost so much to train.
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-16 155440.png
so this is the old build
after careful deliberation,
im dropping snooping and stealing
you can still do backstab against
monsters and steal from them at the same time
but grandmaster stealth is so far away,
and training 2 other skills as well?
managing to pk people
when you do like 10
damage is entertaining
ive managed 2 now
one who tried to use in mani all the time
who had a verite skinning knife + 30 other items
its only worth like 2k but still a good loot
i didnt know they existed,
dont seem to give big bonuses
and another guy some special build seemingly
with 100 dex 100 int and 25 str
if hed just died outside town
id gotten the loot of my life
but i made 10 dmg, he ran to safety
then 2 secs later he was dead
from greater poison?
i know getting pkd isnt fun
but damn ive gotten pkd so much
with some magic items out of nowhere
even just gold platemail
that evening out the
hate is worth it
this is the new idea
i dont want to drop cooking
now its increased 5 points
while alchemy is just 2
cooking is basically free if
you just skin a lot of npcs
especially with forensic eval
while alchemy costs through the roof,
i also got a mage now to uphold
i might still drop cooking further down the line
i figure if i manage to make
like 10k ribs or whatever
i can rest it for awhile
or add cooking to my new mage
a chef who makes wonders
why not? sorta rp there :)
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-13 122624.png
im sure fighting this
monster is more viable
than my grandmaster swordsman
spells just ruin him
and without magic resist
theres barely any difference
Fil:Skärmbild 2025-10-12 200501.png
yes, i use alchemy and taste id for
higher healing amounts and more poison dmg
then cooking for some extra heal points
this is much better, even without any
additions, than healing + anatomy
12 secs to heal once? yeah, real
balanced for pvp or nothing really.

well. whatever. i twinked him out some. being hardcore you
cant be always. it gets boring as well. im not using wrestling
weapons since he just turns into another melee fighter but i dunno.
disarm and hambone sounds interesting. increasing swing speed would
be paramount. but i wonder if you really do that or if its at certain
thresholds only. swing speed in and of itself is quite bugged. sometimes
it shows up correctly sometimes it doesnt. with pets as well. makes me
wonder if it also works correctly sometimes and not. it doesnt seem like
the animation gets speeded up or down directly. its the same. unlike running.

well, its strange, i bought leather armour.
the bull did just as much damage,
so dont know whats up with that.
maybe if id healed 1 time id managed it,
but i dont think so. so i used exceptional mastercrafted leather armour, and also the same for shield, but didnt make much of a difference. i guess i need to twinkmule studded armour from myself somehow with a tailor.
here are my skills by the way, but i still do only 3 damage? its been like that since my combat skills were level 50. attack speed is pretty good though at about 1.2 secs between strikes. it just looks fast. lots of weird skills give especially damage bonus but its seemingly lost in whatever calculations are used.

my latest adversary.

in the beginning
# add music skills to keep with the air theme?
thinking about how to limit. now that i tried out spirit speak, maybe i should try a necromancer for the first time? it feels tintilating to fighting low level mosnters and them being challenging. just something new. how far can i take it?
even just using items feels overrated. which skills are possible to grandmaster this way? taming surely isnt, the lowest taming requirement is 25.
anyway, what i did was put points into skills that i wouldnt use. and if you are to use them, they must reach 0 first. for stats i put max amount into intelligence so my swing speed would be as slow as possible.
luckely enough the first moongate i used had a bird right next to it. i almost didtn make it. i could always have run away to heal, but it was possible to 1v1 them. then i tried birds, a chicken, more birds, a cat. and yes, i call this the
"featherweight ironman boxer"
maybe i should only fight flying creatures? wisps would surely be a challenge. mongbats are probably possible as long as i find them somewhere. and why not harpies? could stone harpies be possible? i read that outlands has 500 different monsters, how many are flying capablity?
maybe i should turn him into a musician? or start a new character with that? never tried that out.

couldnt find a mongbat, but i fought an eagle, taming level +10 higher than the birds, so a formidable opponent, lost 55 hp. so seemingly not ready for mongbats yet. but this is only 2 hours or so of gameplay to reach npc training level? about average. not too easy not too difficult. as always in UO the designers mix low level and high level monsters so afking combat skills is never completely safe.
i wont use hiding on this character. at least not now. im tired of training it on just a previous character i made recently.

the eagle does 6-9 dmg to me while i only do a constant 3. tried a second one, and it went down pretty quickly compared to the low level birds in the beginning, but i lost 60hp.

when he was around
70 in most skills
what about this?
1 taming
2 animal lore
3 herding
4 veterinary
5 musicianship
6 discordance
7 peacemaking
8 provocation
9 mace fighting
10 parrying
with 100 in each i have to
scrape away sorta everything
and when my swordsman
gained grandmaster i got
no bonuses from it
at least hiding and
stealth gives more steps
but 4 grandmasters? nothing
the idea is to use wooden shield
and a club, its just something i wanted
ill craft them myself
since getting low level things
from vendors you have to run
all over the map
only for 1 or 2 of the item
which youll lose
in less than a day
then they might restock
with your items!
anyway together with dullhide
my grey clothes, hair, and complexion
looks nice, and it doesnt cost
an arm and a leg and getting pkd
i can just craft more
i got 5 dullhide wooden shields now
from just 2 trees of chopping
anyway, i explored earlier
for like an hour or two
before i got home
i seemingly got into the clutches
of a wrestler?
he
hamstringed me?
paralyzed
took like 20 secs to kill me
i wondered what that was
he used hiding and stealth
surely a patient guy
and with 3 music skills
you can give 3 bonuses
to yourself to friends
to your pets and summons
if you prefer magery instead
its just an awesome build =)
but then again i want
character development
you cant kill much with it
i guess when i get 80
for codexes it will turn
better, and ill abandon
my low level high level pets
for powerful beings
frogs are pretty strong though
they regenerate too!
so the aim is to have 10 level 10 pets
for all my characters.
and i swear, llama mounts
move faster?
its just when horses turn
they lag the animation somehow? when
youre running through the woods, llamas
just turn faster when you run into a
tree and change direction. it really
really seems like that?

seemingly killing that spellcaster with him gave

its 37 xp on that, more than giant spiders at 22.
its about same difficulty, also as shallow water

that means in total its about 3000xp? have to calculate that.

real nice idea, they reduce armour rating
of monsters, up to 100% although unusual
at lvl 60, so it benefits all pets. also
music skills give double bonuses, also in
outlands for pets allies and yourself
this is my first lvl3 pet, takes quite
awhile to level. i optied for only using
1 pet for awhile, it can be confusing sometime
and if you find a good stat animal you cant
have 5 full slots. and training 1 at a tmie

i might be vain in some sorta way
but not based on the cost of the fashionable items
in runescape i really liked starting clothes in red
made me look like a lumberjack. that colour doesnt
really exist for any in game items. so you stand out.
as you see here i chose grey skin, grey hair, grey beard
like on 4 other chars lol. and then also grey

1k lvl 2 leather, THEN i bought dullwood. anyway
got some backup weaps and shields too. have had

even better, they are not randomized in their

theres not much to the game

the dungeons are basically impossible

they all use the same spells if theyre spellcasters
there arent that many builds because
you have to put so many points into a skill

so difficult to find the right vendors
then you cant sell anything to them?

oh, used the stucky feature to tele me to a town
since it would take like half an hour of running

people could pk me. seemingly not, they did that
instead of felucca, nice. the newbie starting area
is basically like grand exchange, you gain skills
real quickly but they are capped at 80. the problem
is, skills really only start working at around 80-90.
almost nothing good of them at low levels, for many,
anyway. which is disapointing, so not many builds are
available, unlike diablo 2. just a battle character uses
800 full skillpoints, and im still not very powerful.
and as for ease of skilling in crafting ones? no way.
ive used like 500 hides and advanved 0.1 skillpoint.
you would need millions and millions even billions
to gm tailoring. anyway, lots of PVP seems to be going
on, but not much chatting. dont feel like talking either
since the game is my favourite one ever, almost. all games
are good in different ways though.
real challenging monsters.

logarithmic durability charges of items. increases more by 1.1 for each level. so its 10% more the first, then the second is 10% increase 2 times and so on. seems to be quite alright amount for the different qualities? also, if you didnt know, at least armour and weapons, even without exceptional, still have a bonus compared to npc bought. the only "real way" this would be balanced, is if you could only have / use 1 tool per backpack storage. i pkd a guy who had 20 normal skillets and fishing poles. unluckely i only got 500 fish and not 5000 or 50000.
Fil:Tool durability balancing.png
arboreal - when you cut down a tree it disappears from top to bottom. depending on population of the server and how many are lumbering, trees will respawn slower, up to 24 hours or more. now, arboreal means "knowledge of trees", so with this youll be able to plant trees. every tree has to be 2 tiles away from other trees or things so you cant trap people into it. gives bonus to all tree related skills in different ways as well. that is, tinkering, archery, lumbering, carpentry, mace fighting when using wooden weapons, and parrying with wooden shields. this will also mean, youll have to travel around the world to look for trees. high level in this also shows a map of the density of trees in an area.
masculine - gives chance to scare creatures and players around. at GM its 75% neutral npcs, 50% red or grey or chaotic npcs, 25% good npcs, 12% blue players. while scared they cannot call for guards for 10 seconds. they will also not be able to attack you for 5 seconds. this will be especially good for jousting melee fighters, aka turn hitters.
mounts - instead of being max run speed at level 0, mounts only get this at lvl 10. this will really spruce up the taming skill. very few care to take their mounts beyond lvl 1 which frankly doesnt take long. and mounts unless strange colours dont sell for much. every creature and tamable that spawns also has the new property "movement speed", in -+50%, while mounts have -+10%. and just like mounts, at lvl 10 they will be +movement speed at higher levels, so theyll be able to chase up to pks.
lvl, movement speed improvement
0 +10%
1 +12%
2 +15%
3 +17%
4 +20%
5 +30%
6 +40%
7 +50%
8 +60%
9 +70%
10 +95%
athletic - similar to the above, at 100 points youll move at the speed of a mount.
mounts and people can run for 30 seconds before getting tired. if you run out of your endurance completely, you will only walk slowly. regenerates in 30 more seconds.
yes, i want this a lot. why just random stats for pets? why not for all creatures and battleable npcs? why should they all have like 3k 4k 5k hp, 25 armour, etc? and for human like npcs that are grey or red, why not let them spawn with magic armour and weapons for even more potential challenge? and also let them spawn with any applicable damaging skills. and for magic casters, why just have them do magic damage, why not actual spells, and combos? i remember liches back in the days could do explo + flamestrike + paralyze + teleport + melee attack + poison. that was ruthless.
swimming - just what it says. you will be able to use harpoons and tridents and fight monsters and fish this way. has a (100/skill)/10 percentage chance to drown once an hour. together with taming youll be able to tame new water npcs. docks will double up as stables.
avian - ive mentioned this before. but why should birds be useless in taming? i mean they do minimal damage and have even less hp. with this youll be able to tame most flying creatures in the game. will be a requirement for wisps as well. only flying creatures can attack the birds mentioned. all follower slots are doubled, but all pets except low level birds use double the slots. birds can fly up to 100 tiles away from you.
eagle - picks up enemies / creatures and lands them closer or nearer to you, toggleable. chance equal to 25%-taming req+avian
crow, bowerbird, magpie - collects items from corpses and puts them in your bank. together with poisoning skill you can get items from a distance this way. up to 1000 tiles to deliver to town.

Factorio
Or both?!
Rules:
* Only magic bone spells:
Teeth
Bone armor
Bone wall
Bone prison
Bone spear
Bone spirit
* Just enough strength to wear the equipment needed, the rest goes into energy.
* No resist or defence equipment either.
* No twinking
* No mercenary
